Strategic plan part 1: Conceptualizing a business

When conceptualizing a business it is important to make sure to create a high quality strategic plan. This plan will help to detail a company’s vision, mission, values, goals, and direction that will be desired once the company has been started. When deciding to start a new company one must decide the best type of business would suit someone as well as to be a successful company. Once this has been completed the strategic plan can be started.
Our Mission Statement Starting in 2012 my business partner and I started out on this path. Lina Yetishefsky, DVM and I decided to create our own Veterinary hospital. This veterinary hospital would be one to produce quality medicine and customer service all at the same time. Prior to opening our doors we needed to determine and create our mission statement that would then help us to create our strategic plan. To create our mission statement we needed to determine what specialty services would be offered outside veterinary medicine to help us stand out from our competitors. We decided to open up a veterinary hospital that offered full service veterinary care, grooming, and boarding services and guaranteed excellent customer service with a warm and inviting down home feeling to the hospital as a whole. Once that was decided we could create our strategic plan and narrow down further details and goals.
Our Vision and Our Values With veterinary medicine as our priority it was important to create a vision that supported our values both including the medicine we practice and the quality customer service we strive for. The vision was to create a quality veterinary clinic that provides the highest in quality medicine, strong customer service, and additional services like boarding and grooming. Veterinary
