Error can appear when a communicate message is not accustom or received as it was intended. For example, in class the professor divided us into groups of four to do a research paper on ‘Ethic’ and present it as a group. Effective communication conveys the same message across to everyone in the group to eliminate misunderstanding and frustrations. I think GCU emphasizes quality and proper etiquette in the discussion forms, a pragmatic place where conversations can take place and information can be shared more easily among a group of students, this link promote learning. In the discussion form as a student we are interacting with other colleagues and getting different feedbacks, you learn more in discussion form.
Thank you
Rhonda Heath

I have worked with my current employer for six months. I work with clients with a learning disability, within a supported housing setting. My current job role is as a ‘care assistant’. I am responsible for providing support to the service user’s, which includes: Personal care, assisting with meal preparation, assisting with medication, assisting with meal planning, and maintaining records for service delivered. I receive regular supervision with my line manager, where I can discuss any problems, and get support. I can also request training, and my manager can highlight areas where she thinks I would benefit from further training in. I attend regular refresher courses in training, so that I am up to date with the current standards required for my role. I treat all service users with respect and dignity, and my work practices reflect and promote equal opportunities.
