It is a pleasure to write this recommendation for Brithney Pascal, a student in my gifted English class. Brithney is a diligent, hard working student who works to her potential. She always seeks extra help when needed and oftentimes stays after class to discuss subject matter .She demonstrates excellent writing abilities with skilled analysis. Brithney always participates and is a catalyst for many class discussions. During group work, she willingly shares her knowledge with her classmates while taking on a leadership role. She is well- liked and respected by her classmates, is considerate of others, and tenacious in tasks. Brithney sets goals for herself and works hard to achieve them. Her desire to learn is obvious. She always makes an effect…

*It is the student’s responsibility to periodically check the gradebook for recommendations for improvement. Your instructor may not contact you once your assignment has initially been graded; therefore, it is very important that you…
As I write this letter to you, I am doing so with an immense sense of hope, appeal and expectation. In 2007 I was enrolled as a full time student I was happy and healthy enjoying the things that life had thrown my way. My grades were passing and I felt like I was going to be able to concur the world. I fell in love and got pregnant while working two jobs ,still trying to maintain school and school work I found myself over my head and under an extreme amount of stress. My grades suffered because of my pride, I felt that if I asked for…
Odle. I’m not sure when you are going to read this, but I’m gonna go off on a limb and say it's probable that it is after wednesday; I just wanted to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed your class for the semester I have had it, and I have honestly not seen the level of dedication you have to the subject in any other history teacher at McCallie. No, this is not an attempted to salvage a grade or anything of that manner, just my honest, legitimate opinion that I find easier to give in the form of text than through speech. I hope you have a splendid summer, and from the kid that often forgets to remove his hat; take care.…
This letter is written in an attempt to appeal my academic probation and allow me to receive financial aid so I can continue my college education. During 2007 and 2008 my grades were poor. The cause is no less than my own fault, but I believe the circumstances I faced led my focus away from my education. In the spring of 2007 my father suffered a heart attack. This event sent my world into a spiral. I continued school as best I could and helped my mother take care of my father. To help with the costs of the medical bills I took out a private student loan for much more than was needed to pay for school. I was also out of a job and living off savings and credit cards, which was a huge mistake. Beginning towards the end of 2007 my bills began to pile up and I was getting behind. I managed to get a part-time job to help pay for bills and was still trying to go to school, but as the bills mounted part-time work wasn't enough to keep me afloat. I had to start working full time. I tried to continue my schoolwork, but as time went on work took over my life and my education took a backseat. I didn't plan on quitting school, so I never withdrew from classes and I constantly told myself I would go to class, but it never happened. Now that I have stabilized myself somewhat I hope to take on a light, manageable course load and get my education back on track. I hope this letter can help convince you that I can and will manage myself better and keep my grades up. Any additional information can and will be provided if necessary. Thank you for your time and consideration.…
I acknowledge that my performance in the last semester was unacceptable. However, I hold it as inaccurate representation of my academic potential. In the next semester, I expect to spend my time more wisely. I will work diligently to earn good grades and attend all of my classes.…

I hope that we can come to the agreement that due to several important issues, it would be beneficial to me both professionally for work, and personally for fun and enjoyment. Please take a moment and carefully consider each of my following reasons.…
It has been almost a year since I joined Alpha Beta Gamma. The thought of belonging to an honor society excites me, from the day I received an invitation letter to this present day. I initially saw it as an opportunity to boost my resume, but now I see it in a whole different perspective. Honor societies are organizations intended to benefit and group like-minded individuals together based on academic excellence. However, Alpha Beta Gamma is more than just your average honor society. It is a place where intelligent minds come together to share ideas and provide services to the community. This means volunteering to assist certain organizations and businesses who request our help. Not only do we aid businesses, we also assist individuals by teaching…
I believe that I deserve this grade because I always attend class and only missed two during the semester. I rarely show up late and and I am usually ready to take notes during our lectures. Although, I do not participate in class, I am surely attentive and a respectful listener towards my teacher and classmate’s questions or opinions. I know that in the future I should be more active in class to benefit my knowledge and grades. However, I believe this grade is a reasonable…
We do not award letter grades in this course, except for the final grade for the class. (Perso 1) Knowing that in English 101, we do not get a confirmed grade on each piece that we write, makes me a lot more confident about my writing. This class gives multiple opportunities for you and others to revise and rewrite works. In high school, you wrote and revised your own papers then handed them in for a final grade. I like that you have more than one chance to better your…
My name is _______ and I am writing this appeal letter in hope that you will reconsider your decision and grant my financial aid. I would like to begin thanking you in advance for taking time to read this letter and consider my request to reinstate my financial aid at Somewhere University. Being able to communicate with others is very important in the professional world, being able to communicate effectively can help you advance in a career, by doing so means you can get a point across in writing. This is important because in the human resource field you will have to write memos, and job descriptions. You want to be able to make your point as clear as possible. Before I learned about this tool I didn’t know how to set my goal, I now know that my goals have to be reachable meaning have to but levels to goals. One thing that is extremely important is attendance and participation which is half of your grade, to get you attendance you have to long in to class at least 3 time a week for at least an hour, to meet your participation your have to post at least 8 times throughout the week over a period of three days. This also plays a big role because in order to meet your participation you must be able to manage you time, this is where time management comes into handy. Phoenix teaches the managing your time is as important as anything else…
I have decided to write you wishing to persuade you into supporting my education. As I’m sure you are aware, I am student who genuinely cares about school. With that said, I have taken the liberty to only ask for you to add some well deserved ten extra points to my average grade in your class. I highly believe this is of your importance not only because it can be argued fair, but it can also can open many opportunities for me, a student who cares for its future.…
