Human Resource Strategy Chic-Boy is a fast casual restaurant chain of Pier One Holdings Corporation. Now, committed to environmentally-friendly operating practices, They already established Different branches in the country. With the growing number of branches, the firm had to maintain the capacity of their people to maintain the status their establishment. Part of that subject, is the Human Resource Strategy of Chic-boy
Chic-boy hires people who are : * At the college Level, College Graduate * Computer Literate * Have good communication skills * Proficient in the English language and able to communicate orally and written. * With restaurant background. * With at least 2 years experience in restaurant or food industry. * Should not exceed 35 years old. * Highly Trained in the chosen position
They set a strategy of programs in developing their employees:
Developing Training programs for their staff * Training for new staff who may be experienced in the work of the position( Kitchen, Cashier, Store Manager, Crew, Accounting Clerk & Stock Clerk) but not in the particular method or style which your organization uses. * Ongoing training for all staff in regards with the kitchen works, and communication skills of the employees. * Field-generated courses or workshops: courses or workshops that grow out of the needs of practitioners, who find people to teach them. * Employee development and training should be conducted at all levels within the organization. * Team up a new employee with an employee who has been in the business for some time. The new employee simply follows the existing employee around and watches what he does.
Training Programs for the employees: * It shows them that the organization is serious about what it does, and therefore encourages them to be serious about it, too. * It makes them feel that the organization is supportive of them. * Having the proper training boosts their
