Introduction & Background of the study

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Training activities should begin when an employee joins an organization and continue throughout his or her carrier, regardless of whether that employee is an executive or an employee on an assembly line. Training programs must respond to job changes and integrate the long term plans and strategies of the organization to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources.

That’s why I have conducted little research on training program of Trust Bank Limited & tried to gather a practical experience through internship program.

The main aim of this internship program is to connect practical knowledge with theoretical knowledge. Now the world is a competitive world. So everybody has to be expert in both practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge.

During my work, I have faced various obstacles. By the grace of Almighty Allah and by the help of my supervisor and some related person, I have overcome those problems successfully.

1.2 ORIGIN OF THE REPORT

This report is prepared as per internship requirement of my Master of Business Administration (MBA) program of the International Islamic University Chittagong. I worked 2 months from 10th February 2013 to 10th April 2013 in Trust Bank Limited (TBL), CDA Avenue branch, Chittagong. In two months I have through various banking activities.

The aim of this internship is to connect practical knowledge. Now the world is competitive world. So everybody has to be expert in both practical & theoretical knowledge.

1.3 INTRODUCTION OF THE STUDY

Banks play an important role in promoting economic development of a country. Presently Private Commercial bank are showing the momentum how to be advanced towards some challenging goals through contributing in the national economy banks provide necessary funds for execution various programmes underway in the process of economic development banks were in the
