ADVANCE NOTICE TO STUDENTS
DATE: 7th MARCH 2013
SUBJECT: SUMMER PROJECT: PGDM 2012 -14 TRIMESTER IV
1. The course curriculum of PGDM 2012 – 14 Trimester IV includes a half credit (50 marks) Summer Project Report. Accordingly, every student is required to complete and submit the Summer Project Report with ADC on or before 20th July 2013.
2. According to the Academic Calendar for the year 2012-13, the duration of the Summer Project will be from May 01, 2013 to June 30th, 2013.
3. The essential ingredients and the layout in serial order of the Summer Project will be as under:
a. Title of the Project. b. Compulsory Certificate by the Industry Guide under whom the internship was carried out (as per format attached as Appendix ‘B’). c. An Index showing the sections / chapters with page numbers. d. The particulars of Industry / Sector covered in the project. e. An Executive Summary of the project. f. Research Methodology adopted. g. Actual study conducted. h. Summary and conclusion (reflecting the learning outcome of the internship) i. References and Bibliography.
3. Summer Project will be typed in font ‘Times New Roman – size 12’.
4. Completed project will be Spiral Bound with the cover indicating the details as given in Appendix ‘A to this notice.
5. Summer Projects of students who fail to submit their project by due date shall not (repeat not) be considered for evaluation.
6. In addition to Hard copy of project report students required to submit Soft copy on a CD of the same.
7. Regular lectures for Trim IV will commence from 1st July 2013.
