1. PREFACE
Internship program of Foreign Trade University was set up to provide students with an opportunity to get acquainted to the enterprises environment to apply the knowledge gained from courses at university into reality as well as finding out the differences between facts and theories. The reason for my choice to be an intern in Kim Lien transaction office- a branch of Agricultural and Rural Development Bank in Nam Dan district was to have the very first idea about the culture of enterprises. This office was based in my commune which will provide me with certain knowledge about the economic, graphical and social situation contributing to better understand about my internship office. In addition, the banking sector was one of the important sectors contributing to economic and social growth of our country. It also plays an indispensable role in the project of industrialization and modernization of the country because banks are economic and financial entities providing funds for individuals and economic organizations for economic growth of the district in specific and for country in general. Moreover, in my curriculum, I studied two subjects including corporate finance and banking and finance which are closely related to the operation of the cash flows among banks, firms and households. Hence, working in a transaction office was greatly useful for me. The objective of my internship period was to gain the practical experiences in the time of working and communicating with customers, colleagues and superiors as well as to find out the enterprise culture of the office. Researching the operation of the transaction office in reality and avoiding the unfamiliarity in my future work was another expectation of me. In addition, I strongly believe that the time of practicing will also create excitement for me to study subjects in the curriculum in the following year when understanding how our theories will be applied into reality.
