Relation Between Teacher and Student
School has to be place where young people should learn something more about life and all the problems in it and have a lot of fun. The condition for that is a good teacher-student relationship. The relationship would be possible if there is understanding between both sides. Unfortunately in my school that is very hard to active. We, students want to do things that our teachers don't allow. Some of them understand us and let us "go”, but some have no toleration at all. Even if it could be better we are very happy. Believe or not we have a great time and we wish everyone to spend as more time as they can with their teachers for better and stronger relationship.

I think that relationship between the teachers and students need to be friendly. Students need to cooperate with their teachers more, with it students can learn more about suitable subject. I think that the teachers need to find the best way to present the subject to the students, I think that the presenting need to be something which can interest the students in some interesting and close way to us. I know that because, some classes where is boring I don't try to learn much. In classes where is fun and interesting I can learn much more and I don't need to try hard to understood the lessons. I have teachers who are fun and interesting people which they try to present the subject on the interesting way I love that subjects and I cooperate with them as much as possible, so I learn a lot of other things which are connected to my subject. It is good to have good teachers which can explain some dilemmas about lots of

A major component of my philosophy of education in general is the need to build meaningful relationships with students. I am firm in my beliefs that students must feel a personal connection to their teachers. When mutual trust and respect between students and teachers flourishes, two important phenomena occur. First, teachers are able to allow students more freedom and independence in the learning process, without worrying that classroom management will be compromised by a particular activity. In addition, students develop a positive attitude toward the class, and feel assured that the learning that takes place on a daily basis will be understandable, fun and…

The purpose of my paper is to reflect upon the student-preceptor relationship and how it shapes the views and interests of the novice nurse within the nursing profession. Thinking back, clinical opportunities that were meaningful to me have been when I built a positive and professional relationship with my preceptors. These well developed relationships have directly correlated with how well my overall clinical experience has gone and they’ve shaped the type of nurse that I would like to become. The reason that I’ve chosen to speak on this topic is the result of a particular nurse on the Cardiovascular Surgery Unit (4B) during my placement at the Toronto General Hospital (TGH). As I entered TGH on Sunday May 26th, I was aware that my designated preceptor would not be facilitating my learning on this particular shift. This was the result of her assignment as the charge nurse on the unit. As the charge nurse, her presence was continuously required at the nursing station as she could not be at the bedside. My preceptor had then indicated to me that I would be working with a more senior nurse on the unit. When I met this nurse: she greeted me with a smile, introduced her name and credentials, and told me a little bit about her professional background. The first topic of discussion that I had with her was her familiarity with the Scholar Practitioner Program (S.P.P); she mentioned briefly hearing about it. As a result of this I gave her a debriefing of the S.P.P, told her how the students learnt, mentioned my learning objectives, and gave her a little description of my own educational background. What struck me by surprise was how she received this new program. Unlike some of the preceptors that I’ve heard about from my co-learners, she was positive and willing to work with me to build a nursing foundation. This made me feel even more willing to be on the unit and to embrace my learning. Furthermore, she had given me a…

School is a place where students are given the opportunity to learn and receive an education as well as socialize. Part of the learning process is interaction, however, it should only occur when the time is suitable. Being in the classroom should be considered a privilege. That privilege should only be given if a student's behavior does not interfere with the ability of the teacher to teach effectively or the ability of other students to participate in classroom learning activities.…

I believe that students learn best when they are taught under certain conditions and in certain ways. Some of these include the student’s support and encouragement, give them self-confidence, and give them the opportunity to participate and discuss in the classroom. Also, teachers encourage them to be themselves and use their creativity. Gentle treatment and respectful treatment of students gives students a sense of comfort and the ability to be tender.…

A great teacher must be fair to absolutely everyone. This includes treating every student with the same respect; having no favourites. Teachers who do this will almost always receive that respect in return from the students. This helps the class function well so the student will learn more. They also create fair guidelines and rules for the classroom. Along with these come reasonable punishments in case they are broken. A great teacher is understanding and knows when to bend the rules a little. For instance, when a student has many extracurricular activities it may be difficult to get all there homework done on time; an excellent teacher would recognize this and talk to the student about it. If teachers are not fair with all of their students, they will not get the respect they desire. This in turn leads to difficulties in the classroom and disobliging students. The reason why students do not enjoy unfair teachers is that they do not understand that students have other obligations after class sometimes.…

For most of us in our daily lives, there are many relationships in force, often simultaneously, as this is a natural consequence of human interaction. In a school environment, relationships are formed at many different levels - between children and their peers, between children and adults in the setting, and also between the adults themselves. It is only when good (positive) relationships are enabled in a school setting between everyone involved, can benefits then be derived for everyone involved, children and adults alike.…

It is better to guide students than to lecture them. As a progressive teacher, I will serve as an assistant or partner and guide students in learning. Students should have considerable freedom to determine what and how they learn. This is does not meant the teachers do not provide some structure in the class or that students do whatever they want. I will see where the students are and lead them to where they should be by the end of the year. I believe a teacher should use various methods to instruct students in the class to make sure that all students have a chance to understand. Students learn by being actively involved in the classroom. Being a guide, a teacher should provide access to information rather than be the only source of information. Having discussions rather than lectures will make class interesting, enjoyable, and help students succeed. If a student has input during a discussion they will more likely retain what is being taught because they have related it to what they already know. Whether it be hands on project or a group activity, a child is most likely to learn if they feel they are a part of the education process. Many times children will learn best from one another. They should be encouraged to interact and share ideas and knowledge with each other. Because children learn from others, it is important that teachers, parents, and administrators behave like good models. Teachers and administrators should make the school a comfortable, safe, and supportive place for students to grow. A balance between choices and boundaries will give children a sense of security. Teachers also need to be consistent with their decisions. An unpredictable teacher is likely to be untrusted by the students. It’s important that school is an enjoyable place because children spend much of their time here. Teachers and administrators should work together in providing the best for the student. Collaboration is essential. I believe teachers should not be the only people…
