Business organizations nowadays are facing heavy competition as the business markets are rapidly expanding .Hospitals in particular and other health care institutions in general express growing concerns regarding efficiency evaluation and performance improvement.
The dynamic socio economic conditions are developing and changing at a fast pace nowadays. Therefore organizations of all kinds feel the growing necessity to modify their plans in order to adapt to the progress of continuous improvement by finding new means to maximize performance. As health care institutions and service businesses have followed similar strategies to achieve performance improvements, efficiency evaluation is considered one of the most relevant aspects for hospitals
