A German Chocolate Cake is an impressive looking cake. It is a regular chocolate cake with a sweet and gooey coconut and pecan frosting. A traditional German Chocolate Cake is not a typical layer cake that is covered entirely in frosting. This specific cake leaves its sides bare so you can see both the frosting inside and the three layers of cake. One could argue that the best German Chocolate Cakes are made from scratch instead of store bought, box cakes, or just plain old messed up. Although there are many different variations of German Chocolate Cake recipes the one mentioned in this essay has been passed down from generation to generation. This particular recipe takes between one and a half to two hours to make. This recipe makes ten to twelve servings of cake depending on one’s reason behind making this cake.…

It took me 5 minutes in order to clean the table, wash my hand, and gather together the ingredients. The first thing I done was melt 50 g of butter for 3-4 minutes. Then I blended 225g of digestive biscuits which took around 3 minutes. Whilst the biscuits were being blended I prepared the tin by adding butter and plain flour. Afterwards I added 200g of strawberries to hot water and left them cooking for 4 minutes, after the four minutes I filtered the strawberries and left them in a bowl in the strainer in order for the strawberries to release the juice within them . I mixed the biscuit with the melted butter, I than added the mixture into the tin and made sure it was a smooth layer. This took me 4 minutes altogether. I than had to make the filling; which consisted in cream cheese 750g mixed with 450g of crème fresh with 50g of sour cream. I mixed all these ingredients together and added 300g of caster sugar. This took me 5 minutes. Next I cracked 5 eggs into a bowl and added it into the mixture with lemon juice. After I finished mixing the ingredients I added the juice which the strawberries gave out in order for the mixture to get a pink colour this took me 2 minutes. I than added a pinch of flour into the strawberries - so that they will not sink to the bottom of the mixture. I than added the mixture to the tin with the biscuit. Finally I baked the cheesecake in the oven at 160°C for 45…

I am going to school as a Baking and Pastry major. Before I started school something I always loved to make was ice cream cake. Most people think this is a hard task, even though it is time consuming it is not hard to accomplish. It’s based on 3 steps. Make the cake, prepare the ice cream, and assemble the cake. You can basically choose any type of cake and ice cream you want. I have made many kinds such as chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream, vanilla cake with cookies and cream ice cream, and strawberry cake with butter pecan ice cream. I’m going to explain the process of making a simple yellow neopolitan ice cream cake. You also need to choose what size of cake you want to make. I’m going to make a 9 inch cake. You will need 3 cake pans of the size you choose. The first step is baking the cake. You can choose to either buy a package of cake mix, or to make your own cake. First you need to preheat the oven. Most cakes call for 350 degrees. Now get two of your pans out and butter, or spray them. To ensure the cakes won’t stick you can always sprinkle some flour on the top of the butter. Now your pans are ready. In order to prepare a cake batter you will need some ingredients. You will need to combine the dry ingredients: 2 cups of flour, ½ a teaspoon of salt, and 2 teaspoons of baking powder. After you’ve finished with the dry ingredients blend together 1 cup of sugar, 3 teaspoons of vanilla, and ½ a cup of butter. Beat in 3 eggs to the sugar combination. Now add the dry ingredients you mixed earlier into the sugar combination. Last pour in ½ a cup of milk and continue to mix until it is thoroughly incorporated. Divide the mixture into the two prepared cake pans. When you place the pans in the oven make sure they are spaced at least 2 inches away from each other. The cakes should bake about 25 minutes. When the cakes are done let me fully cool off before messing with them. While the cakes cool off it is time to move…

The success of the cake depends on the measurements used for the ingredients. The measurements needed should be taken carefully to prevent flaws in the outcome of the cake. If for any reason there is a mistake in the measurement of one or more of the ingredients, this may result in batter being too parched or too soggy. In which case, the batter will not be able to bake properly. The perfect outcome of the sponge of the cake depends on the uniformity and width of the batter, which will only be precise if the ingredients are perfectly measured. It is preferable to melt the butter first and then pour the egg mixture into the pan because it becomes easier for the baker to smoothly fold the mixture with the other…
