The report considered here reflects the importance of various parts of the working of an organization in a systematic way. It determines the goals, objectives, policies, problems and strategies of the airtstar company. This company had previously met with a lot problems and business crisis due to lack of organizational skills and strategies. Earlier the list of managers and subordinates was not up to the mark, the company’s selection procedure was not adequately lined up so to overcome this issue it is suggested to pay keen attention towards the managers and employee selection process.

Finally, as a consultant the organizational structure should be excellent because the employers are the one who runs the organisations.

1) Introduction

1.1) Background

“Airstar Inc. manufactures, repairs, and overhauls pistons and jet engines for smaller, often previously owned aircraft” (Daft, 2008, p. 84). It has been observed that air star company is facing problems in their organizational structure and strategies which consist of decision making, complete knowledge to the employees and many more reasons which led them down. It is currently facing a major challenge adapting itself to the changes around and regaining the position it held few years back. The president under the assumptions of a stable environment has an outdated view. Due to many problems this company could not maintain its goals and policies as it was not well panned and organized. The organization does not have clear strategies to be used to deal threats and weaknesses occurring in the business. The founder had been not encouraging team work and did not carry out his duties fully. This was the reason of the organization’s downfall. This brought the fights between the vice president and the controller over mergers and acquisition opportunities. One major problem this company is facing is that that it is not clear in the organization who is supposed to report to whom. This made difficult for the president to acquire information about export finances.

He is managing hypothetically organized environment. President needs both management and Leadership skills to provide direction for the company. As a consultant, I would advise Mr. Morgan to implement certain strategies and plans to bring in discipline in the working of the business and this would only be possible if Mr. Morgan enhances his leadership abilities. In addition to this, business tasks and organizational structure also need to be revised.

1.3) Scope

Our study and analytical report will also focus on the personnel management as well as the responsibility and authority of each supervisor. Management emphases on establishing detailed plans and schedules for achieving specific results, then allocating resources to accomplish the plan. Leadership calls for creating a compelling vision of the future for the company and developing farsighted strategies for producing the required changes needed to achieve that vision.

2) Problems

The change process has the biggest impact on the working...
