INTRODUCTION We define “smart phone” as a mobile phone that offers advance capabilities such as web access and e-mails; runs complete operating system software and can run various “Apps” created by third party and features a larger screen and faster processor with more advanced computing capability and connectivity than the standard mobile phones. From recent years the demand for smart phones has outpaced the rest of the ordinary mobile phone market. Here in this research market survey technique of market research is used to reveal the buying behaviour and purchasing power of the consumer within particular area. This market survey technique is used to test the market segment for the potential smart phone users. Market survey is carried out the distributing set of questionnaires to the people observing and analysing the reliable data required for the preparation of sales and market strategies, which are vital components of the business plan.
