Praise to Allah SWT the Most Merciful and the Most Gracious, I have successfully completed my 10 weeks of Industrial Training that begins on June 25, 2012 until September 1, 2012. I also would like to extend my thankfulness to my parents, Mohd Kassim Abd Rahman and Nismah Hussin and my siblings for their never ending support in terms of moral and financial support. As for my Academic Supervisor, Dr. Lim Yee Yan, I thank you for your reprimand and guidance during my training and the completion of my technical report. Last but not least, I would like to extend my big appreciation to the Managing Director of KATA General Engineering SDN BHD, Mr. Arfan Hj Tengah and my Industrial Supervisor, Mr. Majeri Kuhal for giving me a chance to undergo my Industrial Training in your company and for always advising and guiding me throughout my Industrial Training. Not forgotten, friends and all staffs working at KATA General Engineering SDN BHD for your help, guidance and support.
It was a memorable experience undergoing my Industrial training at KATA General Engineering SDN BHD for 10 weeks. I have been exposed to many aspects in engineering and construction industry which is a very good platform in preparing me for the real working environment in the future. Apart from that, undergoing Industrial Training also teaches me how to implement my technical skill in engineering, as well as my communication skill into working environment. The most important thing is, It has also trains me to carry a responsibility with honesty and sincerity.

KATA General Engineering SDN BHD was formerly known as Pemborong Alwea as a Class ‘D’ contractor and was incorporated on the 11th April 1990 and in the year 2002 the company adopted its new name known as KATA General Engineering SDN BHD and at the same time has been upgraded to PKK Registration Class ‘A’ Bumiputera company with CIDB G7 Category.
