SUMMARY

This report covers my pre-degree and post-graduation work experiences including the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). It consists of the main report, detail calculation sheets (N.N.D.C. Learning Resource Centre Project-Kaduna), 1No.Structural Working Drawings and a bill of Engineering Measurement and evaluation (BEME).

The report is presented in chapters with each chapter briefly explaining some aspects of my experience in relation to design and supervision.

Chapter 1 consists of an introduction, pre–degree training under the Student Industrial Working Experience Scheme (SIWES) program, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme, experiences covering training and introductory aspects of design and drawing interpretations.

Chapter 2 entails my post-graduation experiences with Integrated Development Consultants (IDC), Kaduna. Some of the projects I participated as an employee of the firm are briefly discussed. Key aspects of the supervision involved and the methodology employed are outlined.

Chapter 3 covers my experiences as a resource person with other firms. These include GEI Consulting Engineers Kaduna, Ete-Aro and Partners Abuja, and Y.S.and Partners Abuja. A brief description and discussion of the projects are...
