Examples Of Process Analysis Friday
Process Analysis Entry Slip
My process analysis paper can easily be compared to a Friday. The only thing that brings a kid more joy than a Friday is Christmas, so for my final Composition essay, my group and I decided to write about tips and tricks to getting people into the holiday spirit. The only bad part about Christmas, is the feeling everyone gets once it’s over. Christmas is “the most wonderful time of the year,” so once it’s over people are left singing the holiday blues. Friday only comes around once a week, which means if you don’t enjoy it, you might as well stay in school. Friday means the weekend, and the weekend means getting together with friends, and not thinking a single thought about school.

It was the biggest day of the school year. It was near the end of my Freshman year in high school, and I was satisfied with my grades, proud of my diligent work throughout the school year, and adjusted to the high school. Students of all grades at that point were counting down the days until Spirit Night. Spirit Night—a big tradition in Hillsborough High School—excited me. In the event, each grade faces off with one another in multiple competitions in order to acquire spirit points. By the end of the night, the grade with the most spirit points wins. There were activities during the school day, and we would all be packed into the gym and participate in even more activities after school. During the amazing school day, all the students were jubilant…

American families derive pleasure in viewing Christmas movies, and the hyperbolized plots give children and adolescents, the most influential individuals in society, unreasonable expectations, which affect their practicality. According to the website, “Problems with Christmas Curriculum,” published by Steven A. Gelb, the standard formula used to create the plot of hundreds of holiday movies, shows the same fantasized version of Christmas, which makes one’s choice of how they would want their holiday to take place, difficult. Although several individuals would like the reality of a holiday to more closely resemble the television-version, visual settings, reasons for celebrating, and the holiday’s ending make individual unrealistically expect a more romanticized version of Christmas.…

So, you want to know how best to prepare for that chemistry test? Well, have I got some great tips for you. First, it is important to realize that what is being taught in the classroom is only a minute part of what the actual knowledge transfer is supposed to be. The teachers think that by teaching the students everything that is in the curriculum is enough and that they have done their jobs by teaching the students from books. This is hardly the case, as the real challenge for the students is to use that knowledge in a meaningful way to really understand what the subject is all about. The studying from books part is the least important bit.…

The holiday season, a time meant for the celebration of chilly weather and cheerful greetings, is perhaps the most celebrated time in America. Each year, millions of high school students embrace the promises of the holidays as an opportunity for rest, relaxation, and freedom from the confines of scholarly pursuit. I, being one of many students weighed down by the stress of finals and academia, eagerly anticipated my holiday break that would begin the second week of December. For weeks, I planned out what I would do with my abundance of free time so that I would enjoy each day to the maximum capacity. I resolved to travel to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where I would experience the scenic snow-capped mountains, bustling village towns, and adventurous…

As I sit on the porch on new years eve, overlooking the new years party on beach, the dull bonfire, the boring music, and lifeless games, I cannot help but see them as pathetic individuals. They are pathetically trying to fill their time, with obviously boring activities, for three hours leading to the countdown. With only half a minute left until the new year, I could see their relief, even from afar. Clearly, these people just want to escape to their serene home and pity themselves and their lack of homework over break. While the fireworks explode, lighting the sky in a dreadful arrange of dull colors, I can’t help but think, these people need help, need to go back to school, and get sincere and thoughtful teachers who assign homework over break.…

Christmas is one of the most incredible times of the year; snow on the ground, a warm fire in the living room, and twinkly lights around every turn. When I was young, I loved Christmas. Toys and treats had me in a daze for almost a week straight. I was a typical kid, and my focus during any holiday was, “What do I get? Who brought me presents?”. I never realized the true meaning of why we have holidays, other than presents, until I was seventeen years old. As I’ve started to see my family less and my co-workers more, I understand that the true meaning of holidays in general, is to spend time with our loved ones. Taking my new found wisdom into account, my opinion of the “best holiday of the year” has changed from Christmas to Thanksgiving. My views, including favorite holiday, have changed because my focus on what’s important has matured.…

The winter and the summer sessions are alter egos. The winter session is cold with death, war, and stress in it, while the summer session is full of friendliness and youth. “In the same way the war, beginning almost humorously with announcements about maids and days spent at apple-picking, commenced its invasion of the school. The early snow was commandeered as its advance guard.” (Knowles 84). “In another form, the individual soul is thought to consist of several parts, separate but linked…” (189).…

It is early afternoon on July 12th and the advisors of the Class of 2012 Council orchestrated a brunch in honor of the council members’ hard work throughout the school year. As everyone begins to arrive, I sit outside the chosen restaurant awaiting the orange sign on the window to announce that it’s lunchtime. I dive into my mind thinking about what the day will turn out to be. I don’t have to hope for a good day; it will just be one of those days. I snap out of my reverie and jump off from my elevated chair to make my way to the entrance as the sign flips around.…
