This analysis will investigate Land Transportation Office’s problem of fixers in and out of the agency and LTO’s lack of integrated system within the process of agency’s operations. This proposal might help to give solutions to LTO’s stated problems in this study.

Land Transportation Office abbreviated as LTO is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Transportation & Communications responsible for optimizing the land transportation service and facilities and to effectively implement transportation laws, rules, and regulations.

As early as 1910, there are few motor vehicles that can be found in the Philippines, there are laws observed by the Filipinos but they were informal. So, starting 1912, Land Transportation Commission was established for laws to be enacted to regulate motor vehicles in the Philippines to provide for the regulation and licensing of operators. Unfortunately, Land Transportation Commission was abolished during 1987 and changed to two new agencies namely Land Transportation Office and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board.

Why does lacking of integrated system and equipment affect end-users’ behavior towards processing LTO services?
Why some of the end-users do preferred having help from fixers to easily finish their concern with LTO?

IV Significance of the Project

Problems stated above needs to be solved for LTO will be able to know their customers concern regarding their service for it is the key to help improve their service and system. Also, they will be able to manage fixers in and out of the agency to avoid this illegal act and lessen corruption. On the other hand, it will benefit Filipino Drivers to save their time and effort regarding their concern with LTO.

The other reasons includes the customer was not at the location where the mobile truck was called when the technician arrived or the technician was given the bad directions of the technician failed to understand the direction given by the customers. The employees didn’t put their complete efforts to the work and they were not working hard. Another reason was the problem understanding of the customers. Many of the technicians were not able to understand the complete problem of the customers. They came to know the problem when they reached the customers place. Sometimes the technicians were not carrying their appropriate tools, which were needed in the repairing for the customers. The mobile truck was liable to travel to the location where customer calls them. The reason of that was stores were not easy to find. It was because the stores were not well located; they were simply opened for the sake of adding more locations and were not always located in the prime service areas. John Barlow also added that if the location is not well located so why a customer bothers to find and go to the store.…

YakkaTech is an information technology services, they were well known and had a good service, but overtime they started to receive a lot of complaints. They had a hard time to address this issue and to identify where it started as well. The first symptom to address that something was wrong was that as soon as they started to increase the customer service employees, complaints started to increase as well. Besides this, voluntary employee increased making Yakkatech having to hire new technical staff. Having all these employees caused the new employees to lower their productivity. Employees started to feel they were basically doing the same thing every single day. Others didn’t care about consequences and some of them even started having issues from people in other departments. So basically the whole system was “crashed”. Another symptom was that they started giving the employees a higher salary and profit sharing plans, with the hope that this will address this issue, but it didn’t. Employee recommendations to their friends so they would join the company, became minimum. This showed the lack of interest that employees had over the company. To address all these symptoms that I explained they would have to take actions and make them quick. YakkaTech Ltd. had to first address the rising complaints that the customers had towards the company. To solve this, they would have to apply more than one solution. Between the most important one of all, they would first have to start working on the old system that is applied in the company. As it was shown, bringing new employees might be the cause that is stopped working. That’s why they should first change the system to make the departments have a better communication between each other and avoid the conflict (Having a…
