My Perfect Mate Essay Example
What is perfect? What's perfect for you may not be perfect for the next person. There is nobody in this world that is perfect. To quote Robin Williams in the movie Good Will Hunting, "You're not perfect sport, and let me save you the suspense, this girl you've met she's not perfect either. But the question is whether or not you're perfect for each other." What are the qualities that you look for in a perfect mate? Well of course everybody wants somebody that is considered beautiful, so what else is there? Now I'm in no hurry to find my perfect mate but if I was I would want somebody who is intelligent, trustworthy, caring and has good moral values. My perfect mate would have a good level of intelligence. No I'm not looking for a genius but someone who is well-educated and can talk about different issues going on in the world. I need someone I can trust to handle the financial situations and other important things in our lives. If she is very intelligent then she would likely have a good paying job. That means we would be pretty financially stable and be able to afford some of the nicer things we would like to own.

Trust is the key to any relationship. If you don't have trust then your relationship will not last very long. So my perfect mate must have trust in me and visa versa. If she tells me she's going over her friend's house or is working late then I don't want to have any doubt that's exactly what she is doing. If I want to go out and hang out with the guys one night she wouldn't have any problem with it. I would also look for someone who is caring and loving. If I had a bad day at work or wasn't feeling good she would do her best to cheer me up. No matter what was going wrong in my life at the moment she would be there for me. She'd also have to have respect and love for my family as well as hers. If she doesn't care for my family chances are she doesn't care for me too much either. Finally, I want a mate with good ethical and moral

Perfection is unreachable and yet our whole world has an obsession for it. It is important that we realise that life is not about aiming for something that doesn’t exist; it’s about enjoying what we do and having dreams that can come into fruition. I believe that Flawless by Lara Chapman, Soul surfer By Sean McNamara, Bunheads by Sophie Flack and Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult, all showed a significant connection to the idea of perfection. The main connections I found were that the idea of perfection creates a feeling of entrapment in situation and causes us to feel hopeless. All characters form my books had different family dynamics and their actions were reflections of these. I also saw many indications of how perfection causes our perspectives of others to change and how we act towards them, we are more cynical and cruel to those around us because we think are not equal with them or they are not equal with us and we want to change others around us because our idea of perfection is warped. It is inevitable, and written into our human nature to want to be better than everyone else and to be faultless, however the idea of perfection is indeed a barrier for contentment and…

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: “To have a friend you must be a friend.” After taking some time to ponder this quote, I agree whole heartily with Emerson. I believe that a person in search of a friend must display the different qualities that they want out of the relationship. My friendship with my best friend Mellissa did not occur over night, I had to display that I was honest and trust worthy in order to call her my friend. From the beginning of the relationship, I was completely straightforward with her. I never gave her any false information or any reason to question my motives. In turn, she was completely honest with me. Loyalty is also important in maintaining a relationship. When my friend was going through some tough family trouble, I always made sure that she knew that I was there for her. But most important, the relationship lasted so long because I respected her. I never judge her religious beliefs or any view that she stand for. One might observe that in life friends are not a given, they are earned.…

I'm not looking for a soul-mate or to spend the rest of my life with someone. I think spending your life with one person is over-rated and has a high percentage of ending in disaster. I am interested in finding someone who enjoys body shots, kissing other women, drinking way too much, gambling and making immature, stupid and sinful decisions. I have a ridiculously good sense of humor and can gurantee that you will have the time of your life. As far as how you must look? If we meet at the beginning of the date you need to be smoking hot with an amazing body. If we meet towards the end of the evening, there are no standards to speak of. By that point I will be more than hammered and will not remember anything anyway. I just ask that you be gone by the time I wake up the following morning. Under no circumstances will I meet your family. That's a step towards commitment that I refuse to take. I do not want to hold hands, see a movie, take long walks on the beach, read poetry, lie in bed and listen to rain, talk for hours on the phone, or even exchange numbers for that matter.…

Brooke fit all the standards I had for a girl plus some. She was skinny. She had beautiful hazel eyes and dirty blonde hair. She was athletic and loved out door adventures. Her smile was like a beautiful ocean sunset and her laugh would make you laugh even more. She was shy but outgoing with her friends. She was extremely book smart. She got straight A's in high school. Most importantly, she loved and feared God. A girl that I will marry must love God more than she loves me or anything else. I just had a strong feeling when we first met and did not want to ignore it. She fit all my standards and turned out to be the most flattering young lady I had ever come in to contact with.…

I hope my lover is a Christian, who has the Christian personalities that I admire; such as optimistic, generous. In my opinion, Christians’ ideas are very different from unchristian people. When a Christians are in a predicament, they always look on the bright side and their solutions about to difficulties are positive. My lover who is an optimist, he will cheer me up as I encounter difficulties. We can pray to God and discuss problems with each other. Maybe our religious belief will let us share the same opinion. The second of Christian personalities is generous. My ideal spouse is generous toward everyone, and loves to help people. I like to attend public activities, so I hope my husband can join with me. As the proverb says, “No beauty is like the beauty of mind.” I think that people must have the generous mind, and this is more important than how handsome he looks like. On the other hand, it’s really horrible to a wife that her husband is crucial and has a bad mood. If my husband is unkind to me, our passion and love will fade away; even though the couple fight all the time. Each couple would like to have a family in harmony, and no one wants to get marry with that kind of man or…

Having my own family is the most important thing to me. My ideal family would be very similar to the one I grew up in. Mom and Dad were married and never argued. I never knew about any kind of financial problems they might be having or any problems between my Mom and Dad. We lived in the same house and I went to the same schools until I was 15, when my Dad’s job got transferred to San Bernardino. I had a very secure and stable home environment.…
