I place my emphasis on potential MSO reductions by 1 year or more, as well as the 2 year stabilization policy available to soldiers who are transitioning off of active duty into the Reserve Component. Other events that take place during the first quarter of the FY are briefing the RSP Soldiers on the Warrant Officer Program and visiting the Universities to speak with the MS III’s and IV’s for possible aviators.…

Social order is a fragile concept; the most extraneous of details can cause it to spiral into chaos. In The Crucible, the inhabitants of Salem, Massachusetts experience the unforgiving disruptance of social order. Many attempted to end the witch trials promptly to the start of them, but their sacrifices rendered futile. John Proctor, a farmer, was the only citizen of Salem whose sacrifice made a significant, positive, impact on the restoration of social order.…

Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) is a rare syndrome that not only causes physical conditions but emotional. The psychological effects of woman diagnosed with MRKH have never been fully discovered. The hypothesis and or purpose of this study is to evaluate self-report measures of psychological distress in woman with MRKH syndrome compared to woman without MRKH syndrome. A group of woman with MRKH will be assessed through anxiety, depression, and self-esteem scales to determine any psychological distress MRKH had on them when they first received the diagnosis up until later on in life. Similar studies and theories believe that coping with infertility can be taxing and cause psychological issues throughout a woman’s life. I belief observing woman when diagnosed with MRKH as well as following up with woman after dealing with the initial shock of this syndrome will give insight to being able to give proper coping skills to not only woman with MRKH syndrome but woman with infertility issues.…

Research has shown that one of the most effective means of communication is to not only make social and cultural pushes for change but to “find ways of reaching out to marginalized groups,” (Duta-Bergman, 2009). By doing this, a campaign is able to help these groups feel that they have their own choices to make all based on their own self-understanding. For health campaigns, the limit is not simply put to reaching to marginalized groups for an effective means of communication. The Health Communication Unite at the Canter for Health Promotion University of Toronto provided a 12-step process and program for designing a comprehensive communication campaign, of which the ideas of how to effectively inform and call to action the general public on important health issues that they are facing. Some of these steps include: “are goal-oriented attempts to inform, persuade or motivate behavior change,” “are most effective when they include a combination of media, interpersonal, and community events,” or “involve an organized set of communication activities,” (Health Communication Unit, 2007). TASK Imagine that you are employed by a leading game development company as a game designer. The company has identified a game idea that they think will be successful for their next major title. The next step is to work out some details and present the idea to key decision makers within the company as a “high concept/pitch” document. If they like it, the game will go ahead. The idea you have been given is for a game based on the following premise: In the future, mobile phones will become very intelligent. There will be so many linked together that they will form a collective intelligence. Together they will try to take over the human race, and enslave them to their will. The player can either take the role of the collective intelligence in trying to enslave all humans, or could take the opposite side, i.e. attempt to rescue the human race from enslavement. Consider this initial idea, and develop a high concept document. You will use this to pitch your concept for the game to the key decision makers – hopefully they will like it and give you the funding you need! GENERAL INFORMATION As a high concept, your document should be catchy and to the point – it is essentially a sales pitch so it should leave the reader wanting more. But, you also need to have considered the features of your design in enough detail that those reading the document get a good understanding of who the game will target and what features it will include. You should include a minimum of one graphic to communicate your vision for the game (a hand drawn sketch is appropriate). Your ideas should be prepared as a Microsoft…
