Corporate Personality is Dr Kushal Pal Singh

Personality:
Dr Kushal Pal Singh, better known as K.P Singh, is the current Chairman and CEO of DLF Limited, India’s largest real estate company with a pan India presence in over 30 cities across 18 states. Dr Singh is chiefly recognized for his significant contributions in the building of modern India through his pioneering role as a real estate developer & corporate leader. His endeavours in the field of real estate has helped in creation of world class infrastructure & attracted unprecedented levels of foreign and domestic investments, generated new employment opportunities and transformed millions of lifestyles. His autobiography, named ‘Whatever the Odds: The Incredible Story behind DLF’, was launched by Jack Welch in 2011.

Education:
Dr K.P Singh, born on 15th August 1931, at Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh, graduated in Science from Meerut College. After this he went to UK for pursuing his further studies in the field of Aeronautical Engineering. While pursuing Aeronautical Engineering in UK, K.P. Singh was selected to the prestigious Indian Army, by British Officers Services Selection Board, UK. He joined the Indian Military Academy at Dehradun and was later on commissioned into ‘The Deccan Horse’ – A renowned cavalry regiment of The Indian Army.
In 1960, he joined American Universal Electric Company and soon after its merger with DLF Universal Limited in 1979, he took over as the Managing Director of this new company. He later went on and made DLF India's largest real estate company, which has now become the world's largest real estate company in terms of revenues, earnings, market capitalisation and developable area.

Contribution to Organization:
