ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS STUDENTS
Project works are totally new to most of the engineering aspirants’ and is a blank slate to start with. It is an amorphous and a blank image to the students as they were earlier used to theory courses with prescribed text books and lab works that need to be carried out in the laboratory. A Project work is fortitude of common goal and group approach.
Each passing year the engineering scholars are assigned project works which they have to present in their final year of study. The final year EEE projects plays a major role in demonstrating the effectiveness of studying results of modules that the students have taken throughout their course of study.
Here are some basic ideas for EEE students to select their final year projects:
 Value Added Project: Always choose a project that has the value addition. Don’t ever simply decide on any project just because it has been given by your adviser or suggested by a friend. As an engineering graduate your project should be both advantageous to a number of people and also enhance your technical skills. It should play a positive role in the development of that specific field. So, do an assessment and select a project that adds value to your work.
 Focus on your area of interest: Select the project based on your personal interest in the topic. It is also important to know the basic things and the scope of the project you have chosen to do. The following four areas are ideal for EEE students to do the project work. o Digital Signal Processing (DSP) o VLSI o Communication o Embedded Systems
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is about processing of the digital and audio signals using MATLAB software.
VLSI involves VLSI designs of new ICs implemented from Altera & Xilinx. The projects can be on electrical communication, machine control etc.
Communication Projects are done using GSM, DTMF, RFID, RF, XBEE and
Smart Card.
