Why I want to be a science teacher.
The aspiration to become a science teacher started about 5 years ago for me. I was waiting for the bus to take me to a job that I despised and wanted to just go home. I started pondering on what I wanted to do with my life and I remembered the fun I had in science class. My teacher's always made science class fun and captivating. Because of these memories I decided that I wanted to be a science teacher.

I love science and learning about how things in our world come about. I would like to share this passion with my students. I believe that I can encourage children to explore their world and learn about all the interesting things going on around them. I plan on being a hands-on teacher and doing lots of experiments in my classroom.

Another reason I would like to teach science is that I would like to make learning fun. Teaching science will give me many opportunities to capture my student's attention. I believe I can make science an interesting and fun subject for our future generations. For example, building a volcano and learning about how volcanoes benefit/destroy life on earth. Teaching children that things can be destructive, but also be beneficial to earth is very important.

One more reason I would like to teach is because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of children. I want to be a teacher that makes the classroom a place that students want to be in. I remember how my teachers believed and encouraged me to want to learn new things. Teaching will give me the opportunity to give back to the community by being a positive role model like my teachers were.

The love of science and learning new things will be the main goal in my classroom. Hopefully, I will prepare my students for future academic learning and promote a lifetime of learning for them. Anytime I get discouraged, I will remember my past teachers and how much their support meant to me. For me teaching is not about the paycheck that you take home every two weeks, but the faces that are in

In my heart I have always wanted to teach. I believe that there are three ingredients to learning. All children can learn, children should be respected as people, and children are children and should be treated that way. I believe that children are able to learn regardless of their race, religion, social status and the environment around them. With a little patience and kindness you can teach a child almost anything. Respect is something that is earned. I believe that if you show children the respect that they deserve they will respect you in return. My goal as an educator is to help children learn in a safe, healthy, nurturing and structured environment. I think that children learn best when there are clear and concise rules and when they are able to participate in their learning. During my teaching experience, I find that children learn with different learning styles. Multiple intelligences play a big role in their learning.…

“Why do you want to work in this field” I want to work in this field because as a child, I was not given the best fertilizer to thrive in a classroom; being coddled and not being held to my fullest potential. I feel that it is my duty to prepare students for a lifetime of success through a well structured, fun, and friendly, environment. Through this environment, I hope that with my hard work, dedication, and help of my colleagues, the younger generation of tomorrow will have a pleasurable learning experience and think school is a fun place to be! Teacher qualities and responsibilities As an educator, one must be friendly, a people person, well educated, keen at listening and most importantly, keeping the little ones safe at all times.…

Everything we use or do is somehow scientific related. Second I would make the class fun and interesting so all the students can have good time learning and understanding science and new things. I would let the students do science projects and experiences to help them expand their learning in things that they want to learn more about. Giving them this option will help them like science in the way they want to like science and make their own understandings as well. As a teacher I want to make sure that all the students understand most of what is going on in class before moving on to the next subject. I would also show videos and make them learn about scientists, to make sure that they understand that not all scientists are crazy and males. Finally I would let the students explore to get their own understanding of science through the great outdoors and take them on fieldtrips to the park and much more.…

I enjoy being in the classroom for several reasons. First, I find it very rewarding working with children and helping them to gain knowledge and grow as individual. Finally, I take pleasure in creating a warm and inviting classroom culture with my students.…

I want to be a teacher for several different reasons. I initially decided teaching was for me when I was in middle school. I had an amazing teacher that helped me through a lot. She made a huge impact on my life, and I knew then that I wanted to be able to do the same for other kids. I later went on to have children of my own, which gave me even more reason to become a teacher. And even with the economy the way it is today, there are actually a lot of opportunities for teaching given the wide variety of jobs a teaching degree can obtain. I also understand the responsibility that comes with teaching and that the job doesn’t end when you leave the classroom. That is why I respect the teaching field as much as I do. I know I still have a long way to go before I get to my teaching career but I feel it will all be worth it when I get there.…

Personally I can’t remember much about doing science in primary school as it was too long ago. I feel that it was casual and fun but what I do remember doing was some exciting stuff in and around the school boundaries. Finding bugs, doing experiments and making erupting volcanos in year 6. But high school to me it started to be boring, not fun and an attitude “why do I have to go to Physics and Chemistry?” Over the last two decades, a considerable amount of research attention has focussed on the science attitudes of pre service elementary teachers. It has been found that many…
