Most importantly, I love helping other people to any extreme. Specifically speaking, I want to enhance the learning of children in today 's generation. I chose B-K Education because I work with this age group now at my daycare. This major is ideal for future teachers who love working with small children. Courses prepare students to teach pre schoolers-usually three to six years of age- in formal classroom settings. As an educator, we are to study how people learn and how to best teach them. I have learned that if you major in education that you will find out how to set up and manage a classroom, design and teach isnspiring lessons, and help students succeed no matter what age, background, or learning style.…

Being an elementary school teacher is a highly rewarding profession. Building the academic foundation of young minds can be challenging, but is incredibly worthwhile. If you are considering becoming an elementary school teacher, here are the top ten reasons why you may want to take the leap into the classroom:1. You have a broad appreciation of school subjects. To be an elementary school teacher, you have to be versed in a variety of subjects, such as reading, math, science, and social studies. Your students might go to a special teacher for art, computers, and language, but otherwise you are in charge of their entire curriculum. Being an elementary school teacher is great for an individual who enjoys teaching and learning about different subjects, and who does not want to feel limited by teaching only one subject.2. You like kids.Otherwise, you would not be considering teaching. If you like kids, elementary school is a great place to interact with them. You can shape their minds, create innovative ways for them to learn, and help them grow to their fullest potential. The topic I chose to write my essay about is being an early childhood teacher because that is what I am studying to be. I have also learned a lot of interesting facts while doing my research. Being an early childhood teacher makes it so the teacher is also a guide to the children they are teaching and is also able to teach the children new things, and keep them safe from any harm that could come their way. As a teacher, you should find some new experiences for the children so they can have fun learning new things and also learn quickly. You will also need to be prepared to talk with large groups of people, whether it be the students’ parents, other teachers or the general public. Another very important thing about being an early childhood educator is having strong management skills so you can have lesson plans, paperwork and other important documents that are needed to be done in a timely manner, instead of waiting until last moment so you can avoid making any mistakes. When you are a teacher, whether it be for young kids, elementary, middle and high school students, there will be many challenges that come along with it, so that’s another thing that would be good for a teacher to be prepared to face. Some of the things a person will need to become an early childhood teacher are: an associate in arts teaching degree and the number of semester hours required (depending on what college you attend) to earn your degree. Having patience, stamina and a personality to work in a room full of energetic children every day is also a great quality for a teacher to have. Some ways to become an effective early childhood teacher are: “have a sound knowledge of subject matter, take a personal interest in each student, and show enthusiasm with students.” Some personal characteristics that are also good to have as an early childhood teacher are “passion, perseverance, willingness to…

I couldn't imagine life with out being in a school. They say I'm too shy to be a teacher, to depressed, and having social anxiety isn't going to help either. But I know that there is nothing else in this world that I would want, or could do, than to teach. I may not have a family member that has taught, I may not have all the intelligence, and I might not be much of a leader. But I have my own, just as important reasons.…

Why do I want to become a teacher? A teacher has the direct opportunity to make a difference, to change the future. I will set high goals and do my best to show each and every student that these goals are within their reach. I will expect every one of my students to want to learn, and more importantly to understand. I want my students to fight over the seats in the front row as if they were attending a concert, not a school. I want to make my students wonder; make them question; make them think critically; make them write; make them read and feel the same about English as I do.…

There are several reasons why I would like to have a job in early childhood education. The first being that I love kids and they seem to enjoy being around me. My grandmother says they swarm to me anywhere I go where there are little children. She says it’s like I give off this vibe that the kids pick up on. Whatever the reason, I simply love them. Another reason I would like a job in early childhood education is that I would love to be a positive influence on the children I would meet. A profession that is important, yet at times whose value is not thought much about by our society is teacher. Often, teachers are overlooked, disrespected, and viewed sometimes as just a babysitter. So, after saying this, why would I want to pursue a career as a teacher? For me, the answer to this question is very easy. Proverbs 19:21 says, “There are many devices in a man’s hear; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.” For me, this speaks that God’s will shall be done in my life, and His plans are greater than mine. I feel that the call to be a teacher on my life comes straight from God. School is one of the first places that children go at a young age that will leave a lasting impact on their lives. This is where they go…
