As a student, Communication skills are essential for the successful future career of student like me. In today’s competitive world, communication skills in business and career are the most sought after quality of an educated person. Reading, writing and listening carefully are the three most important communication skills for students. These skills like most of the communication skills sounds too familiar as a result of which we take them for granted. Apart from reading and writing presentations, reports and speeches are a part of school curriculum. This has been introduced in schools and colleges for the overall development of the students. This makes expressive skills and managing skills also important for us. It is also important to develop communication skills in relationships.
What deserves more attention is that most of us do not feel confident to make presentations and speeches. But realizing the importance of these skills in modern day life, most good schools have made it a regular part of their curriculum.
Expressive skills are those which are used to express our feelings, thoughts and expressions and thus get across our point successfully to the listener. To develop expressive skills, we need to learn how to communicate effectively and get the full attention of the listeners.
Listening skills are also an important skill that should be taught to us. Listening skills should not only be limited to the classroom but also in a normal conversation. We should be taught as how to give undivided attention to a person with whom a conversation is taking place.
Also, we should be taught as to how to show the other person respect when the other person is speaking. Such etiquette is a part of conversation in every sphere of life, be it professional or personal.
As a friend, conversation is important too. The quote says, friendship is a single soul of two bodies. Friendship is considered one of the central human experiences and for many people it may be as

    Most of Vietnamese student’s weakness is lacking of communication skill. Therefore, when they present or contact with other people in business environment as well as in society, they are quite not confident enough to communicate effectively. Hence, by studying Business Communication lecture, student are not only take note and listening to teacher but also pay attention to the way each person communicate with other through the way they talking and presenting. The teacher asked us about the background of lecture for us to understand the overview of problems. As a result, teacher gave student a lot of opportunities to present their ideas as well as communicate with others in class. After that, teacher will clarify each issue for student specifically and help them to recognize the issue. Additionally, teacher also explains through example and actions which will help students understand more clearly.
