Topshop is a british fashion retailer which specialises in clothing, shoes and accessories. This brand started in the basement of Peter Robinson in 1960. It’s first standalone store open in 1974. There are currently 300 shops in UK and nearly 100 stores across 40 different countries. Topshop is famous for it’s cutting edge fashion and unique design that follows the latest trend. Their target customers range from teens to the middle and the majority of them are female. Their customers usually have some interest in fashion, include early adopters and fashion followers.The designs in Topshop range from casual style to semi formal, therefore their target customers can be a student or even people who works in office. People in this generation are more familiar with the E commerce and the digital age which influence Topshop’s online stores. Topshop even have applications for people to download on their phone, not only locate stores but also help to track products.Topshop even provide TOPSHOP express that allow consumers to choose the speed of delivery. Topshop is advanced in using social media such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest which gives consumers live information and communicate with them. For example, during the london fashion week, Topshop is partnering with Twitter to give instant information of next season's trend. Twitter technology will be able to give the latest information on the show, customers can also tweet @topshop as their hashtag.
