home work should not be assigned to students on a daily basis the subject of homework is cause for much debate between teachers, students and parents.
However, it is obvious that homework is not necessary everyday. homework should not be assigned to students on a daily basis because of health issues, the level of difficulty and the problem of time.
First off, daily homework is unnecessary because of health issues. students who have too much homework can develop poor sleeping habits; many students pull “all-nighters” in an attempt to keep up. Another health issue is the lack of fresh air . studies show simple exposure to sunlight can provide bodies with necessary vitamins , but there is no sunlight at your desk in your bedroom! lastly, stress levels go through the roof when faced with too much work; in countries like china, overworked students have high suicide rate. evidently , too much can seriously damage your health
Next , daily homework presents an unrealistic level of difficulty. if all teachers support daily homework, a student will have a heavy workload , from home work from 5 classes plus P.E.!
Although there are good benefits of having lots of homework, homework helps your child learn to use resources, such as libraries, reference materials, and computer Web sites to find information. It allows your child to extend learning by applying skills to new situations ,homework helps your child integrate learning by applying many different skills to a single task, such as book reports or science projects. Homework adds much more knowledge and it's a good review of what you have learnt at school. Homework give the student responsibility and accountability.
Homework is not healthy. You sit in a desk with bad posture all day, stay up till ten that night, and repeat the vicious cycle five more times, getting a brief two day break. After a while, this turns into stress because these children are only doing school related activities,which is very
