Technology today has become a neccessity in most everyday tasks. Children at a young age should be able to grow up with the opportunity to learn how to opperate and use elctrical devices. And watching television shows them the reality in life, and they could grow up having more of an understanding of the world. Some argue that the time kids are in front of a screen is taking up time that they could be outside playing with other children. It taught me basic math, proper writing, vocab, and everyday knowledge. Some kids may not be able to sit in a class and listening to a teacher, or reading out of a book, and accually gain knowledge from it. Learning how to solve problems, make decisions, or how talk with a game is more intruiging to kids, and they accually want to learn. And the more kids want to learn the more successful they will be. I agree that there should be a limit to the amount of time kids spend in front of a screen. There can be an equal balance of technology time and outdoors time. And setting boundaries of what kids do with technology such as, no inappropriate shows, or no social accounts, could reduce the concerns many have with children and access to electrical devises. There are shows that are produced to help kids learn. There are math shows, problem soving shows, and grammer shows. They talk to the kids and work out problems withthem, giving them a chance to solve and figure things out on their own. Screen time for children shouldn't be shamed. And I accually recommend that chirldren have the priviledge to electrical

In today’s generation the use of electronics and viewing of television has grown rapidly. Children are exceeding their maximum amount of screen time which is affecting their overall well-being. Children are growing more attached to these devices day by day. The excessive time that is spent on any of these screen time choices causes children to have less bonding relationships with those around them and also decreases their physical activity. Parents have said that the reason they allow their kids to use screen time to its full potential is to, “keep them relatively still while I’m trying to clean up around the house” (O’Connell 2). This idea of putting kids on hold with the power of technology causes parents to be blinded at the fact that screen…

I believe technology should be used in moderation for children. I don’t agree with parents just giving their phones to their children because they need them quiet, or to sit still. For children to be at home and siting with a tablet or on a computer to coming to school and doing the same is hard for a teacher. I personally don’t have “technology” in my classroom that the children have access too. But the technology is growing quicker each day, we use it literally every day of our lives, it’s inevitable. Kids are drawn to video games anyway so we might as well put something educational. We have no choice but to go along for the ride.…
