Communication and careers have been directed with technology. When we get so glued to our phones that we can’t go an hour without them, that is what is wrong with our generation. Our online personas stop us from really living. Cyberbullying tears us apart and privacy is taken away. We are not living when we sit in a room all day scrolling through our phones and laptops. Our generation needs to gain back happiness in this world. Life is about creating yourself, making connections and discovering places. We need to use technology as a helping hand, not as a controlling…

Anyone living today knows the effects technology has had on society today, not to mention how it’s changed our generation entirely. Our generation can hardly remember a time when technology didn’t exist. It’s become a part of our lifestyle, and isn’t going anywhere soon. “The evolution of technology has reached a point where pretty much anything is available at the touch of a button. Shopping, learning, working and entertainment can all be accessed from the comfort of our own homes, on a train or sat in a cafe,” (The Guardian).…

Technology and machinery has come a long way in the past 200 years. It’s almost ridiculous the technology that we have now, compared to what it used to be even 20 years ago. The hopes for technology that people may have had in the past have surely been exceeded, and the fear is no longer valid. Technology has opened up a whole new avenue of jobs and opportunities for people. People have adapted to the daily use of technology.…

I can recall attending my 6th Grade's open house with my mother. I remember being nervous, leaving the comforts of my beloved elementary school, and not knowing what the future had in store for me. I don't remember meeting my teachers, or taking a tour of the new school, in fact the only other thing I do remember from that night was my nose being stuck in my mother's silver Nokia cellphone, playing what would be considered by today's standards a very low tech game. This was the highlight of my night and that cellphone game seemed to be the highlight of 2006. I never could have imagined that technology would sky rocket the way that it did. By the time I was finishing my last year in middle school the iPhone had been introduced. Within the last decade technology has completely changed how we live our lives, this sentiment carries over into the workplace as well. While having a decent type by touch speed, being able to create a spread sheet with excel, or put together a power point presentation once was more than enough, today employers are looking for much more technologically…

My generation has it made, with so much technology being more advanced every day its easier for us to get things done. Anything you could think of is a click away its just made life for us just more simpler. For example when my parents were in school and needed information on something for a project they needed to look for it and hand write it, but for me I just look it up on google. We also have television and how it is now in high def, we could rewind, forward, and record shows. we also have phones that could talk to us and its basically a computer on the palms of our hands.…

Technology today is more advanced then it has ever been. The different types am electronical devices that my generation has varies from smart phones to 3D television and paper thing laptops. Its very un common for a teenager to not have one of these iteams. My parents weren’t lucky enough to have electronic devices because they were so expensive. The popular electronic devices that were really in in the 70’s, are not worth much. Their high tech things consisted of bulky black and white tv’s to type writers. Technology will keep on improveing with the years to come.…
