STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

- The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho Mathematics – the subject captured my interest since I was a kid. The conceptual understanding and the logical application to the problems kept my mind awake, which made me glued to the subject. My passion for the subject made me to participate in “Ramanujan Talent Test” in which I secured state second rank. Another thing that intrigued me was – Communication. The intercom connection in our apartments and school caught my attention and made me wonder how it worked. I was lucky enough to witness all the revolutionary changes in the telecommunications industry, from landlines, basic model
Physics took my interest to a whole new level and then there was no looking back. To quench my thirst of curiosity in the subject I immediately took up the opportunity to graduate in Electronics and Telematics (ETM) department from the prestigious institute of G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science. My institution has been the key to my door of opportunities, as it is the only institute in our state to be affiliated with an ETM department. During my undergraduate years, I took an instant liking to the subjects Computer Networks, Advanced Telecommunication Technologies and Telephone Switching Systems and Networks. I found myself discovering more and more about them with each passing day. Being a part of “Telestorm club” – the student technical association of our department, helped me to polish my organizing skills, team work and interactive attitude. I was a Joint Secretary, Secretary and Vice President in my 2nd, 3rd and 4th years respectively, for the Telestorm
This internship has exposed me to the industry and work environment. I got to learn about setting targets, meeting deadlines, designing products and understanding the practical approach to the subject. The internship has been a great learning experience for me. As a part of my extracurricular activities, being a sports enthusiast, I was a runner up at the 66th south zone inter-state badminton championship. I volunteered at “Street Cause”, an NGO which gives me utmost satisfaction. When you discover your mission, it will fill you with an enthusiasm and a burning desire to get to work on it. I am sure your University will help me by being the fuel to my burning desire.
