Adolf Hitler
Promised more jobs and better opportunity financially
Women had to be stay at home mothers (not allowed to work)
Wanted all non-germans to be stripped of there rights or dead (like the Jews)
He was supported by anti-communist, nationalist, and the working class
His goal was to unit all german speaking people
Wanted to wage war against Britain
Born in Austria
Supported by smiler people
Both wanted unity
Wanted there countries to have justice
Francisco Franco
Made foreign investments
Refused to fight the British; fear of defeat
Stabilized Spain's economy
He used the armies power to protect Spain from liberal encroachment
Supported by anti-communist
Hitler and Franco had some stuff in common. They were both supported by anti-communist groups. And both wanted a simple thing like unity. They wanted to bring justice to there countries. And they both had something to do with Britain like Hitler wanted a war against them and Franco feared them. And they were allies.

But they both did have different opinions on some stuff. For example, Franco wanted to stay safe and not attack Britain because he wasn't sure if Germany would win. While Hitler really wanted to go against Britain and he was sure Germany would win. They also did things differently. Franco wanted to protect Spain while Hitler wanted all non-germans out or to be killed. SO they did have different opinions and views on certain things. 9/11 twin towers burning

Firefighters

Third Photo
For the second part of my quilt I decided in firefighters. I believe firefighters are an important part of this tragic event. Firefighters were strong when we were fragile. They were the ones to go into the debris and search for any survivors. Maybe even seeing some there friends under piles of destroyed plaster. They need to be given more honor for what we could not do. Which was go straight into the heart of this horror

Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin were two of the most evil men in history, responsible for countless atrocities. They had many similarities as well. Both men committed genocide to further their political agenda, massively improved the militaries of their respective countries, had their own different groups of secret police and spies, and finally they were both tyrannical totalitarian dictators. Despite sharing many similarities, their government structure and political philosophies were very different. Adolf Hitler was a Fascist who believed in a highly centralized government with himself at the top of the pyramid. Joseph Stalin was a communist who believed in collectivism and instilling fear into his political opposition. Although there are…

Both of these men abused their power and ruled tyrannically over their country for years. One right I noticed they both went after right I noticed that they went after right away was freedom of speech, freedom of press, and all the other first amendment rights guaranteed to us by the constitution. At the beginning of both men’s reigns, they both outlawed labor unions: which are protected under the first amendment in the right to assemble portion. Also, Franco outlawed the speaking of the Catalan and Basque languages which also infringes your freedom of speech. Franco also outlawed every religion except for Catholicism. This also infringes on first amendment rights, and would not happen in our country. The 22nd amendment, which states that a person can only be president twice, would also protect us from having a dictator for…

Another quality they both had in common was their complete and utter lack of morals. Hitler had no grief when he sent millions of Jews to concentration camps, nor did Stain feel any anguish as he killed thousands upon thousands of his fellow countrymen, both of these acts had another thing in common. They were both done for the good of the Mother/Fatherland. This shows that both men had extreme pride in their countries and would do literally anything to make them a stronger country although not necessarily a nicer place to live in.…

The leader the Germans found was a brilliant, capable man who did actually fix many of the problems the German people had such as lack of jobs, food, and money. Unfortunately he was also a power hungry dictator who decided to blame all of Germany’s problems on the Jews, eventually leading to the Holocaust and World War II.…

There were differences between Hitler and Napoleon, however I feel there were more similarities. They were both immigrants in the country they ended up ruling, both conquered most of Europe, both had radical views about fighting, and both were very quick in their fighting. However, the most significant similarities between the two leaders is how they were accepted as monarchs in a previously democratic society, and what they did for the countries after becoming monarchs.…

However, they share much in common. They both wanted to be perceived as chosen individuals, as leaders who are artists (Stephen Reicher, 2005). Also, both of them promoted their power in a way of totalitarian leadership. By totalitarianism, we understand the unlimited authority and power. And clearly, Hitler reached that level when he destroyed any political apparatus that could be able to bring him down as the country leader (Heifetz, 1998). Similarly, after Mussolini called himself…

The first similarity that comes in mind when talking about these two infamous leaders is their troubled childhood. Both of them were known to have suffered losses that affected them negatively and caused them to be corrupted. Lord Voldemort was the son of the witch Merope Gaunt and muggle (a non wizard) Tom Riddle, whom Merope ensnared with a love potion. When her husband discovers she was a witch, he abandons her while she is pregnant. Instead of choosing to live for her son, “[she] chose death in spite of a son who needed her” and Tom 's mother died shortly after giving birth to him on December 31st, living just long enough to christen him with the ordinary name, Tom Riddle (Rowling 262). Just like Lord Voldemort, Hitler also had a childhood burdened with abandonment and heavy losses.…

Nazi Germany’s obvious political and military ally in Europe was Italy. The Italians had been governed by a fascist regime under Benito Mussolini since 1925. Italian fascism was very much the elder brother of Nazism, a fact Hitler himself acknowledged. Yet for all their ideological similarities, the relationship between Hitler and Mussolini was bumpy and complex. The alignment of their two countries was consequently not as firm as many anticipated. By the late 1930s Germany and Italy had become military allies – however their priorities were still with their own national interests, rather than supporting the interests or ambitions of another country. The union between Nazi Germany and fascist Italy became a marriage of convenience and expedience, rather than a firm alliance of sister states.…

Did you know that in the early 1930’s two men gained control, and power among their countries? Adolf Hitler admired, and feared Joseph Stalin. Very ironically Stalin admired, and feared Hitler as well. Stalin was a communist, and Hitler was a fascist. Civilians from these countries were about to face disaster. A communist is defined as one who is a supporter of any type of communism. A fascist is defined as a dictatorial movement, and also dealing with extreme nationalism. On opposing sides these two powerful men had many similarities, and differences.…

Hitler was known for being a dictator and a mass murderer. Roosevelt felt sympathy for the people and his choices in politics reflected this. Hitler was arrogant and racist against various groups of people.…
