Professional Objectives
Florida State University
As an internship program student, I am glad to study at FSU and Walt Disney World. It is a challenge to me, and it is opportunity for me as well. I would like to express the gold I want to achieve here, and the way I am going to get it.
The international perspective
Hospitality industry is a virtual global industry in the most of part, our customers from all around the world. To know what are they think about and what are they want which is important for me. I believe after working with foreigner in the foreign country would help me to deeply understand what the international customs need, and improve our service quality.
Mindset broken
In Macau, especially in Mainland China, it is easy to get mindset of hospitality industry, people always just follow only one way to solve problem. But in United State, they got more experience of hospitality management, they have more ways to review solution and solve problem. In animal kingdom, we have several managers and coordinators, they have their own way to solve problems, I am keeping learning the different way of how to dealing with different situation of them, I am learning the diverse mindset of them.
Oral communication
English oral and written skill is the important factors for me to come United State. As I mentioned, globalization of hospitality industry, this status quo forced us to get high level of English communication, especially speaking skills, it is such important ability for us. I am pleasure to make so many friends of my work place, my colleague, my coordinators, my managers, my guests; they help me to improve my express skills of English.
Altitude and responsibility
The one of the requirements of hospitality management is responsibility; you have responsible of your costumes and your employees, your company. What kind of responsible for your customers? And how to balance the profit and responsibility of different situations? Leaders already gave me the perfect answer I never had.
I will keep going and work hard in Disney world, and learn more professional skills in the future life.
