Analysis of Strengths and Weaknesses
Strength
There are many things that make good hospitality and a pleasurable guest experience. For those that are passionate about working in the industry, hospitality is really about treating each and every guest as you would in your own home and comes from a passionate heart. Of course if the hotel had hospitable workers, it must also have a good leader with a good relation to his follower. In Crown Regency Beach Resort, their management is well managing with proper standards. The resident manger also maintains closeness to his/her employees to develop team work to reach their goal. The strength of the employees is there team work that makes their work easier and fun. They also give respect to whom that is in the position like the department heads. They also give a good example to practicum students and train them with the hotels standards. Their front office staff is very nice in treating their guest, as the guest arrived they informed the F&B department to serve a welcome drinks to their guest. For me it is a gentle way of welcoming the guest. Front-office staff welcomes the guests, give some drinks, carry their luggage and help them register if they not reserve a room yet. Most of the guest in crown regency hotel were Koreans,Taiwanes and few are Filipinos. The FO uses a universal language so that the other guest could understand and can communicate well. They also answer questions about the activities in the hotel and surrounding area. The safety of the guest and staff is secured because the hotel had lot of cctv camera. They had cctv on the lobby area, in dining area, in kitchen, in hallway, in an elevator even in rooftop they had, in pool area and many more. Their facilities give leisure to their guest and a range of amenities designed for the comfort of the guest, including premium quality beds, air-conditioned rooms with a cable TV, safe deposit box, hot and cold shower with complete

In addressing the scenario about the concerns of the level of hospitality and how to motivate the employees, I would start by encouraging my employees to understand what it means for the hotel front office to motivate all employees and staff, and to provide any assistance that is needed for them to achieve 100 percent hospitality level for the company. As the hotel front office manager it is my duty as well as the employee’s duty to work to exert high levels of effort towards organizational goals, such as customer satisfaction, which is the bases of hospitality.…

Mead & Hampson (1996) developed a study involving the divided visual field paradigm and a phonological rhyme/non-rhyme task to test the speed and accurateness of either side of the brain. This study was used to investigate functional asymmetry between the left and right hemispheres in phonological processing. The research was taken out equally on 15 male and 15 females London Metropolitan University students ranging from ages 18 – 35 years old. They were all specifically chosen to be right–handed and had English as their first language thus providing a fair experiment to see whether our left hemisphere (left side of the brain) or the right hemisphere is faster and more accurate. In conclusion using the mean and standard deviation to determine our hypothesis, it was calculated that the left hemisphere had a higher mean and standard deviation score compared to the right hemisphere.…

For a hotel that wants to compete in any area of the market it has to offer some sort of value which nobody else offers or something better then others. If a hotel is competing in the market of short breaks for couples there have to be advantages for people to choose this hotel offer instead of other ones. The hotel must offer six major elements to attract people: Price, quality of room, quietness, sights or locations, cleanliness and service. Price is most important criteria for most of the people especially young adults who don’t have much savings and looking for a nice, cheap, romantic vocation. Quality of room is desirable for many people extremely for those who like to spend quite time in their room. Quietness is critical for everyone coming for a short break. Sight and location plays a huge role because some people are looking to spend time at the beach others at forest or they just want to visit a city it varies on people. Having desirable location or sight is always the biggest plus and probably even more important then the price. No one wants to see dirtiness in their hotel they all expect clean bedroom or bathroom and wherever they go in the hotel this means it’s necessary. Last but not least is service that people want gentle and carrying service which helps them around. All these aspects are substantial for costumers and they consider this when it come to spending money on booking a hotel, that’s what the elements of value are. To add a value company must understand what costumers want from a product and how will they use it. Value can bee added simply if the hotel increases their qualities or add a new one it will show the costumers improvement of value offered to them. Business that don’t add value they fall behind other who add value and improve they business whenever it’s possible. Added value usually gives a greater sense of a value of the product or service. To perform an added value analysis marketers use the competitive compass…

Introduction to the Regency Grand Hotel The Hotel is among the five star hotels in Bangkok, established by local investors. The ownership of the hotel was later transferred to the American Hotel Chain. John Becker a man with a good history in organizational management became the General Manager. Becker introduced an empowerment strategy as an aspect that would increase employee motivation and satisfaction. The practice reduced the bureaucratic governance that was embedded in the past management. The employees were now able to get involved in decision making, creativity, and innovation. Interaction with top management was also encouraged. Becker 's policy however did not improve the performance of the organization, he spent a great deal of time solving employee problems, there was an increase in the number of complaints by customers and an increase in mistakes made by the employees. The performance of the organization therefore deteriorated.…

Remington Hotel is located near NAIA 3, beside the Resorts World Manila. The hotel is good but has some flaws that has a need to work on knowing the hotel is rated as 4-star. As a hotel, they must repair and maintain facilities as it is needed. But when we arrived to the hotel, one of their interior design is not functioning, which is a demerit for their hotel. And no personnel from the department of repair is fixing it. The hallway of the hotel is very simple, as a 4-star hotel, being classy yet elegant is a must, but then, we felt like we are in a dormitory as we walked through the hallway and corridors. The elevator is well functioning, the good thing about their elevator is their ving card system, where in a guest can only go to a certain floor where his/her room is located. The room is okay. I cannot say that is very good since it doesn’t has a mini bar which is one of the requirements of a guest room, also, the bathroom is not spacious, and it does not have a bath tub. Also, I did not saw their spa and gym, which I doubted they have as well as their convention halls. Their personnel are accommodating, good looking, and practice being hygienic. The female personnel’s hair are in bun, they wear a light make up, and proper uniform, while men personnel’s hair are properly trimmed, and they wear proper uniform. Another thing I am concerned with is their reception area is far from the doors of the hotel. Which I think will not work because the guests will still look for it instead of seeing it upon entering the hotel.…
