CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION

The Proponents started to identify problems to be studied that are suitable for a Capstone Project. The proponents ended up to make a Web-based Portal Information Sytem of Alan Holganza Memorial School which will be a guide to the parents to monitor the performance of the students online . The Advantage of making this project is that the administration could systematically manage the performance of the students by astoring of grades, scheduling and sectioning of students rather than the traditional way . The Project Proposal is beneficial to its School Rigestrar because it will be a tool to improve the existing process of storing of grades ,scheduling and sectioning of the students. It also helps promoting the schools where the parents and students will view the school updates.

Executive Summary
History of Alan Holganza Memorial School, Inc Alan Holganza Memorial School , Inc is a private school in San Jose del Monte , Bulacan . The school on its initial year bears the name St. Pancratius Learning School (In honor of the patron saint of the family) when the school is registered to SEC. The school was renamed Alan Holganza Memorial School, Inc. (In memory of the late husband of Mrs. Flaviana B. Holganza). The school officially opened on June, 2002 -2003 with its Pre Elementary Education Course. On March 2003, the parents and the community clamored for the course offering
