How did you establish rapport: what worked, what did not work?
To establish rapport with my client E. Estrada (E. Estrada, oral communication, November 2015) I began by introducing myself and explaining the purpose of our session together. I then asked E. I was able to determine that my client E. Estrada (E. Estrada, oral communication, November 2015) was in the preparation stage because she was aware of the importance of eating fruits and vegetable for both her and the baby’s health.1 E. Estrada (E. Estrada, oral communication, November 2015) was super excited and eager to start trying to add more fruits and vegetables to her daily diet.1 Furthermore, E. Estrada (E. Estrada, oral communication, November 2015) said she wanted to really change, but just did not know how to.1

I could honestly say that this session was the most difficult one that I have come across so far. This was my first time that I really felt nervous because this time was more than just collecting a 24hr recall from an individual.3 This time I had to determine the stage of change E. Estrada (E. Estrada, oral communication, November 2015) was in and assist her accordingly to her stage.1 It was helpful that my client E. Estrada (E. Estrada, oral communication, November 2015) was super motivated and eager to want to change.1 However, it was difficult that E. Estrada (E.
