    1. I want to start with a picture of a doughnut. The reason why is because when we see it you begin to salivate because you might want to eat a doughnut. But it also has a hole in it, and if you were to stick your finger through the hole in a doughnut, that a lot like food moving through the hole that is your digestive system. In other words its going to move all the way from your mouth out your anus. But its not realy inside of you. When you stick your finger through the hole of a doughnut it not technically insdie the doughnut. Just like the food that goes through your digestive system is not technically inside your body, its just moving through a hole in your body. We can eventually absorb that material inside our body, but not until it gets very small.…

To evaluate my work I use the tools in the CWE, The Grammar and Writing guide that is there to help me develop my writing and communication skills. Also the Plagiarism paper checker to verify whether my sources are correct and I have not copied someone else idea. There are labs that you can access to help you with your sources if you’re struggling on a particular assignment and live services that you can attend via the WebEx and teleconference for about an hour. You have to commit yourself to doing the research and then utilize the tools within the library to assist you in determining the relevancy of your sources, by associating the main idea of your source to the main idea of your paper. The plagiarism checker is a great tool to use in determining the text of your paper has not been copied or structured in a way that reflects another person idea. To determine whether or not your source is reliable depends in part on two key factors, the author and his/her credibility in their field. Credible authors will cite their sources so you can check the accuracy of what they have written and how they support their viewpoint. Also, are their views of a neutral nature, and in agreement with your subject, and do they coincide with your topic and main idea? Using the internet as a source can be tricky because it is difficult to determine who the author is, anyone can submit or change the content. Keeping to peer reviewed text is the most reliable, because they undergo a strict evaluation process. The library and its sources has been a useful guide for me in my recent assignments and no doubt in future tasks. The checks and balances that it provides can and will assist you in submitting a quality paper and hopefully giving you an A paper. It is important to remember the effort and work you put in to writing a quality paper benefits you in the long run and strengthens your…

Plenty of students who do not have school sports pleasantly find that they have more time in the afternoon for their families and homework. According to Amanda Ripley in her article, “Should Your School get rid of Sports: YES! It’s Time to Scale Back,” since athletics usually happen in the afternoon, sports dictate when school starts, and therefore reduce the time students have in the afternoon (10). Proceeding to explain why sports happen in the afternoon, she also stated that “despite research showing that later start times improve student performance, many schools begin before 8 a.m., partly to reserve afternoon daylight hours for athletic practice” (10). This supports what is right, that if institutes remove sports, it could help give students more free time after school. Information like this could be extremely crucial to those who wish to have personal time after school.…

An inquiry paper, what in the world is that? That was the exact thought that went through my mind when my teacher introduced the type of paper I had to do. An inquiry paper sounded like a business plan where I had to make a PowerPoint into a ten-page essay. I remember clearly thinking that ten pages of insanity will most definitely kill me, or at least leave me half dead. Maybe I will even develop a phobia of writing. It is even worst that research comes with it too. I had no idea what my central research question was going to be, then I had a sudden nasty flashback of the times where the days I just have no motivation, felt lazy, and just burrito myself in blankets while watching sappy romance movies. I knew I wanted my paper to center around…
