● The notes at the bottom of each slide are like a script for you to follow in your presentation. Put everything you want to say in the notes.
● (Yes, the notes will be printed out for you to read.) ● Keep words on the slide short and simple. You want your audience to listen to you, not just read from your slide. Put the basics on the slide and save the details for your notes. ● Your PowerPoint has to have at least 12 slides. If you follow the outline above, you’ll have exactly 12 slides. You CAN add more slides if you want.
● Your presentation itself should be 8­12 minutes long. Very few presentations go shorter than 8 or longer than 12!
● Look at the sample PowerPoints that I’ve shared with you. If you need to see more samples, let me know.
