My Trip To Aruba, Dominican Republic, Caraca
Have you ever wanted to travel to paradise on a cruise that has food and fun activities everywhere you go? Two summers ago, my family and went on one together and had the time of our lives. On the boat there is all the astonishing activities and food you need to have an excellent time. We went to a variety of places, but my favorite ones were Aruba, Dominican Republic, and Caraca. Going on a cruise with my family is for sure, an experience i’m never going to to ever forget.
To get onto the cruise is a long process. We traveled to the airport to Georgia and then took another airplane to Florida. When we reached Florida we stayed in a hotel so that we could board the ship the next morning. Then we took a taxi to the ship and we had to go through security. Then when we finally got onto the boat our rooms weren’t ready nor was our luggage shipped to the boat so we couldn’t swim while waiting. My sister and I wandered around the boat eating all the delicious food and trying foods that we have never seen before. One of my favorite types of foods they had were an ice cream station that you could There was so much food it could fill the whole cruise ship! It was close to dinner so we dressed up and headed down to the deluxe dining room. For dinner, my parents ordered calamari for me. My

The sand was white and the water was super clear. On the beach, people were scuba diving everywhere and my grandparents said we go if we wanted too. When we got on all our gear and got into the water, there was fish swimming around everywhere I swam. All of them were tropical fish so the fish were all different colors. The coral was sensationally close to us and so was the fish. Afterwards, my sister and I were collecting shells and paddle boarding, but we eventually potency back to the boat since we had a

GRAND CAYMAN REMINDED ME OF THE CLASSIC SEA SIDE TOWN, LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE, WINDY SALTY SEA AIR, THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS A LIGHTHOUSE. IT WAS A VERY PEACEFUL FEELING THERE. I HAD BOOKED AN EXCURSION WITH A PLACE CALLED CAPTAIN RON’S AND WE WENT OUT BY BOAT FIRST STOPPING AT THE BARRIER REEF AND THEN ENDING THE DAY BY SWIMMING WITH STINGRAYS. AT THE REEF ONE OF OUR GUIDES WAS AN EXCELLENT FREE DIVER AND HE ASKED US ALL TO HOP INTO THE WATER WITH HIM AND ONCE WE DID HE TOLD US ABOUT A ‘FRIENDLY’ NURSE SHARK THAT LIVED IN THE AREA HE WAS HOPING WOULD STOP BY (THANK GOD SHE DIDN’T) AND AFTER ASKING US ALL TO PUT ON OUR SNORKEL GEAR HE DOVE DOWN ABOUT 20 FT AND COAXED A HUGE MORAY EEL OUT OF ITS DEN. IT WAS A GOOD 5 FT LONG AND VERY TEMPERMENTAL, IT SCARED ME TO BE REAL HONEST. ONCE DONE THERE WE WERE ON TO THE STINGRAYS. DID YOU KNOW THAT GRAND CAYMAN HAS THE ONLY HUMAN FRIENDLY POD OF STINGRAYS IN THE WORLD? WE FED THEM AND PET THEM AND THEY SWAM RIGHT UP AGAINST US. WE WERE TOLD THAT KISSING A RAY ON THE HEAD WAS 7 YEARS GOOD LUCK. I DID IT AND SO FAR I’TS BEEN 4 YEARS AND I CAN TELL YOU THERE IS NO TRUTH TO THAT MYTH. LOL. SO AFTER ANOTHER WHOLE DAY IN THE WATER WE WERE BACK ON THE SHIP AND HEADING FOR…

Being able to go on the Key Largo trip this year would be amazing! I remember hearing my cousins and even some friends that have gone in the past years talk about how much fun they had, and how it was a once in a lifetime experience. They told me that once the opportunity came around to take it, so I did. I can remember my first time ever snorkeling. I was six years old vacationing with my family in the Bahamas, Nassau to be exact. I can remember my sister and me holding hands, counting to three, jumping off the boat and into the water without a care in the world. It was so much fun free diving down to the reefs, but we weren’t allowed to touch anything or we would be in big trouble. They also gave us each a bag of food to feed the fish in hopes that they would get close to us. Once we were all in the boat one of the tour guides jumped in the water and brought a starfish and conch shell on board. At first he wouldn’t let me touch it because I pronounced the name wrong. The animals were returned safely to the water and placed back on the reefs. The next year’s vacation was the Dominican Republic. This was also the first time I went swimming with sharks and stingrays. The only thing I did not like about this trip was the fact that the sharks and sting rays were stuck in a cage. But it was also the first time I got to swim with dolphins in a controlled environment to ensure no harm to the animals or myself. The last vacation was snorkeling in Cancun Mexico. Even my grandma went on this trip with us. This was the last time I went snorkeling, other than in my pool, but it’s not the same experience. By going on this Key Largo trip I am hoping to relive and make some of my own memories my senior year. I am also looking forward to experimenting and observing all the different animals Marine Lab has to offer. Maybe I can also find a career in the marine biology field seeing…

Well I went for a weekend she stayed a whole week. But I had a really fun experience because it was my first time tubing and my first time being in an actual boat and not a cruise boat. When me and my friend were tubing we would sing songs the whole time and argue about leg room on the tube and eventually push each other off because of the silly arguments. We stayed w1ith her family friends and they made amazing food everyday and they were all so nice. Almost every day me and Lynne would walk up to the store and get a loaf of bread and a coke or ice cream or whatever sounded good at the time and go to the end of the dock and feed the ducks. We named all of them but only remembered this all black duck with a white beak and we named him Castiel after her favorite character in Supernatural. Then we would just start naming the ducks, fish and other animals that we saw after people from our favorite shows. Like I was naming ducks after people in orange is the new black and american horror story. I had a really fun time but there were also some scary times too, we saw a rope swing and one of the family friends were on it and jumped off and his foot became stuck in the hole in the bottom and couldn't get off for a while. Then the next day his friend fell while getting off the boat and their tube came loose. But even with the downfalls in the trip, I still had a fun time with my best friend and it has…

The North American cruise industry is the most exciting growth category in the entire leisure market. Ships are not viewed just as a means of transport, but as floating resorts that compete with land-based counterparts such as restaurants, bars, shopping centers, entertainment venues, etc. The revival of cruising has taken place in the past four decades and today it forms a small but growing segment in the global tourism industry. As a young industry, it has had an average annual passenger growth rate of 7.2%. The North American cruise market is estimated at $17.46 billion. Currently, the Baby Boomer generation is the primary target market of the cruise industry. However, a younger group (Echo) of the population is becoming more active, which opens up more business opportunities for the cruise industry.…

Combining the best of Walt Disney World with brand new cruise ships, the Disney cruise line creates a combination of the romance of yesteryear with all the comforts of today. Launched in July 1998, the Disney Cruise Line has managed to sustain and create that 'magical experience' that Walt Disney customers have grown to expect and wish for. The Disney Cruise Line currently consists of two vessels, the Disney Magic, and the Disney Wonder that sail throughout the Western and Eastern Caribbean, as well as the Bahamas (Exhibit 1). Presently, the cruise line offers 5 different cruising options, including a 7 day land/sea package, a 3 and 4 night cruise only package to the Bahamas, and either a 7 night Eastern or Western Caribbean itinerary. It is important to note that the Disney Magic is responsible for the 7 night cruises; where as the Disney Wonder is responsible for the 3-4 night cruises to the Bahamas. The 7 night land/sea package is an extraordinary and unique package that Disney offers to its customers, where customers are given the opportunity to spend 3-4 nights at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and then spend the remaining of their time aboard the Disney Wonder. In addition to the islands of the Caribbean, the Disney Cruise Line offers its passengers a private get away for a day of rest and relaxation on its own island in the Bahamas called Castaway Cay. This island is always one of the stops on the Disney Cruise Line itinerary, and provides the passengers with sun drenched beaches, exciting adventures, casinos, and unbelievable shore excursions. The Disney Cruise line has sole rights to this oasis in the Caribbean; no other cruise lines are given access to this island (Exhibit 2).…

Being out in the middle of the ocean on a “magical” cruise ship is my definition of perfection. Disney World is known to be the most magical place in this world but that also holds true with the Disney Cruise Line. I have personally been on five cruises, and all have been with Disney, and I have never enjoyed myself more than being on those boats. Disney Cruise Line has a total of four ships and each have their own distinctive design, with beautiful gold swirls on the sides. Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and the Disney Fantasy were all created specifically with families in mind. There is no other cruise line I would rather be on than the Disney. Over the years, many things have changed about a cruise, but I have never had a bad experience. Each trip on a Disney cruise ship has been an…

This cruise is my favorite memory because of multiple reasons. One because I got to spend it to spend it with my closest friends, and also because we got to go to multiple places through out the week instead of just staying at one resort. This was the very first time I ever went on a cruise, and I was pretty skeptical of it at first. On the actual boat we all went to the casino a lot, played basketball, went shopping at the shops on the island that the boat would stop at and swam on the rooftop pool. My favorite part of the day was the buffet meals, there was everything someone could dream of to eat. The very first night on the cruise we went to the casino. I had to ask my parents for money to use and all they kept telling me was “Do not blow all your money, be smart” “Ok whatever you say” I responded, thinking that wont happen. Every single day my friends and I wanted to go to the casino, it was so addicting. I realized after a couple of days that I should have listened to my parents because I ended up losing 120 dollars total. After I lost that much I knew I was done gambling. That is when I actually started to do other things, like actually hangout with all my friends and enjoy our time in the warm weather before going back to school. Something that I never thought that I would enjoy is the shopping part of the cruise. That was actually super fun because when we got off the boat right away the people of that island…

When I am planning my vacation, I plan with a budget in mind. I take into consideration the accommodations, the food and beverages I might consume, the activities I might want to do, and how I am going to get to my destination. The great thing about cruising is the cost of your accommodations, food and beverages and activities can all be included for the price of getting to your destinations. When I say destinations, I’m speaking about the place(s) you want to see. I may have to make additional travel plans to get to the ship, but often this cost can be included in the total cost of the cruise. When I am planning my cruise I usually plan a year in advance. Doing it this way allows me to make a small down payment and pay the rest within sixty days of the cruise. I can pick my cabin level and excursions in advance and budget based on those options. If I decide I don’t want to hassle with airfare later, I can even book that through the cruise line. Booking my flight through the cruise line also ensures that if there are any delays, the ship is made aware and they will wait for me to arrive before leaving the port. On…

Things that could be beneficial to a cruise would be location. Everyone likes to go to beautiful places. Nice accommodation and service areas on board the ship are a must. Other important things can be safety, atmosphere, variety of activities, and areas to relax. Costs could be the expensiveness of the cruise, sea sickness, and boredom. So many of my best childhood memories are centered on the shores of North Carolina. Surrounded by all my favorite people and things, there was never a dull moment. Though looking back it seems like we spent every waking moment on the beach and in the water, we also played games inside the beach house, or just hung out and talked while sitting on the porch, looking out at a beautiful beach sunset. When I was younger, no older than maybe six years old, I loved the waves. My cousins would be too scared to go near the big ones, preferring to stay near the…
