MADARA Cosmetics also known as MADARA, is a Latvian manufacturer of organic skin care products. The ingredients include biologically certified blossoms and herbal extracts from the Baltic region.

The type of company is limited company. It works in cosmetics industry and is founded in July 28, 2006. Company's Headquarter(s) is located in Riga. Madara cosmetics has 40 employees. Company use the services of chemists and dermatologists, marketing and design specialists and other professionals.

This company started with a passion of four Latvian women who supported natural lifestyle and wanted to have a greener and cleaner life. One of this women Lotte once experienced an allergy to a cosmetics product because of synthetic ingredients in it. This case brought Lotte to self-made cosmetics and writing a blog about safe cosmetics. In this blog Lotte met Zane who advocated green lifestyle and worked in a marketing agency. Their meeting led to an idea - to start a production natural cosmetics unit in Latvia. Then joined Liene - one of the most successful young designers in Latvia and Lotte's sister Paula. So the company, named MADARA was born.
The company produces 22 face and body care products made from herbs and flowers harvested in the Baltic region. Products include cleansers, toners and moisturizers for face, tinted moisturizers, shower soaps, body cream and lotions and products for lips. MADARA are entirely natural and ecological cosmetics certified according to the international ECOCERT standard. It is a volunteer standard that certifies cosmetic products confirming their natural origin and their products are packaged in recyclable packaging.

MADARA delivers goods to more than 200 countries Worldwide. These are countries in Europe, Asia, North and South America, Middle East, even Africa and Australia.
