It is apparent how life has changed since new inventions have been introduced in the human life. Over the past 50 years, advanced inventions have created and improved the world, and also it changed the period of time when they were created. The two creations that were created are the automobile and the phone. The automobile was created in 1908, and later appeared in Cold Sassy in the early 1900s, and everyone was surprised by this amazing creation. The phone first appeared in 1982, however, not a lot of people were able to purchase it, because of the extravagant price, but it became more accessible to people as time passed. The invention that impacted the lives of people in Cold Sassy was the automobile. In 1908, it was first created by the Ford Motor Company, the Model T. Henry Ford, the inventor, wanted to build a car that was available to all the common men. The creation changed the lives of the characters in Cold Sassy, because it shows how their lives were improved by providing them a faster way of traveling around the town. Grandpa and Miss Love buy a Pierce for $900, with four seats, so they can drive themselves and show other people how good it is. “Thet’s the one I wanted. Antonio Meucci began to design the talking telephone in 1848. “When the first mobile phone was released to the public in 1982, not many caught on to the fad, mainly because of the outrageous price and bulkiness of the first model.
