Introduction
Hotel and Restaurant Management is a hospitality related course that has been rising up in number in the past several years. Statistics say that this program has taken place Nursing in terms of the number of students enrolled in different colleges and universities. Hotel and Restaurant Management has several majors offered including Culinary Arts, Hotel Management and Cruise lines.

In this study, the researchers aim to know the significance of the course and degree taken by the employees in selected Club and Resort establishments and their overall competence and performance. More so, this study aims to determine the percentage of HRM graduates employed in these Club and resort establishments within Luzon.

Background of the study:
The study is to determine the percentage of Hotel and Restaurant Management graduates who are immediately employed after finishing the degree. There are different job opportunities awaiting the HRM graduates, such as; working in different hotel departments like being assigned in the front office, F and B, housekeeping, marketing, security and public areas. Being an HRM graduate the specialization of service that they provide is very important because they are the one who satisfies and caters the needs of the customer’s demands to the company. The trainings and knowledge acquired by the degree holders of HRM graduates is the one who meets the right standard of service that is needed in the hospitality industry. By this study, we as the researchers will prove that there is a higher demand for the HRM graduates to fill in the front line positions and has the higher employment rate in the hospitality

industry compared to the other individuals who graduated in different courses such as; nurses, teachers, et cetera or finished vocational courses like housekeeping and others.
There will be a survey in the selected clubs and resorts in the NCR region to be conducted by the researchers. The chosen respondents will be the human resource managers which, we as the researchers believed to provide and meet the kind of information that is needed in the study. The survey is needed to provide us relevant data and come up to the percentage of the HRM graduates employment which is the main objective and target in this study. This study aims to provide relevant facts about the chances of being employed of the HRM graduates particularly in the club and resort industry. The researchers are graduating students of Hotel and Restaurant Management and believed that this study will impart enough information and data about the work opportunities waiting after finishing the said degree.

Statement of the problem:
This study will determine the percentage of HRM graduates employed in selected club and resort establishments in Luzon: 1. What is the profile of HRM graduates in club and resort establishments? 2.1 Age

2.2 Sex
2.3 School Graduated

2. What is the percentage of HRM graduates employed in club and resort establishments in each of the following departments? 1.1 Front office
1.2 Housekeeping
1.3 Public Area
1.4 F and B

3. Is there a significant relevance between the degree and course held by the employees of club and resorts and their over-all competence and performance?

Hypotheses:
* Null
There is no significant relevance between the degree and course hold by the employees of club and resorts and their overall competence and performance

* Alternative
There is a significant relevance between the degree and course held by the employees of club and resorts and their overall competence and performance

Significance of the Study:
HRM Students:
This research is intended to enrich and motivate current Students to apply for a job in their own forte and inclined to their course in club and resort establishments.
