HOW TO HAVE AN EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE FILING SYSTEM FOR THE BANKS
PRESENTATION OF THE CASE A banking institution whose operation centers in giving services that requires documents should have a good set up of filing system. Banks have different kind of papers from a simple single slip of transaction up to the very confidential files of client and the bank itself. But how will bank give a best service and maintain the account and relationship to their clients especially the valued one if they can’t manage the bank documents properly.
I. POINT OF VIEW Bank documents like daily transaction slips, signature cards, daft, certificates are the most common papers that you will see in a bank and yet they are the most papers that employees give less attention in terms of proper filing. But still it’s all very confidential. That’s why a good filing system is a must. Documents should keep organize and properly for security and future purposes because it contains certain information. Like personal and financial data of a client and bank’s information. A simple lost of a single paper might affect the client, the bank and its operation. That’s why no doubt that a good filing system will help the bank to have a better operation and service. And also it helps to save time, effort and money in looking for missing documents.
II. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM General Problem How to have an efficient and effective filing system for bank’s documents? Specific Problem 1. What kind of document is to be filed? 2. Where should document be filed? 3. How should document be filed? 4. What is the size of the document to be filed? 5. Who are the authorize person to file? 6. How often they use the file?
