Have you ever think that you would die for someone who ignore all your love? I would not do that because it is such a crazy thing to do for someone like that. However, the song "Grenade" by Bruno Mars is about a guy who would die for such a "not so nice" woman. According to Bruno Mars, his friend Benny Blanco, a famous song writer, gave him the idea to write the story of this song. After playing on the radio for a while, this song was one of the most favorite song in America. According to Paul Grein, a music chart watcher, this song became his second solo single to top the 2 million mark in paid downloads and has sold over 3 millions downloads in the US. In addition, talking of communication, this song contains different concepts or principles such as love styles, dyadic break down process, haptics, and kinesics in non-verbal communication.

Firstly, generalizing about the lyrics of this song, it is about a broken heart guy just got dumped by a girl, who did not love him and made him suffer a lot. I can see in the lyrics that this guy is very sad and depressed, which are the same to a breakdown stage in a relationship like every other unhappy couples. According to Wood, this breakdown stage is called dyadic processes, which contains breakdown of everything that create the relationship. In other words, he is suffering in the breakdown processes. I quite understand his feeling because I was a broken heart before. I believe that most of the teenagers have somehow experienced this matter because every relationship contains many different dramatic moments such as crying, fighting, and misunderstanding.

In general, reading each sentences of the lyrics of any song helps us to understand the meaning of the song.
