Five Keys to a Better Health
April 14, 2011 at 10:18pm

As we all know, LIFE is a precious gift from God. To treasure this gift of life, it is righteous to show, in return, a sincere eagerness to take good care of it. There are five basic keys that we will consider to attain the possible healthiest life that we can ever have. According to World Health Organization’s recent report, a dangerous worldwide increase in overweight often the result of over-eating, so, for the first key is to EAT WISELY, in which we consider the quantity and quality of foods we eat. For the second key, according to a famous bible passage: “No one ever hated his own body; on the contrary, he provides and cares for it.” So this means, the second key is to TAKE CARE OF BASIC BODY NEEDS, we need to have enough rest and if possible, regular check-up to a doctor may be included. KEEP MOVING is the third key, Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta said: “If exercise were a pill, it would be the most widely prescribed medication in the world.” It’s true, keeping ourselves moving may help us to feel happier, think more clearly, have more energy, be more productive, and along with proper diet leads us to our fourth key, PROTECT YOUR HEALTH, this will lessen too much sickness and stress. Caring ourselves by maintaining healthy may often requires our fifth key, which is, STRONG MOTIVATION. Yes, it is possible for anyone of us to attain the healthiest living in this world. Whatever adjustments you need to make, it is important to start every step gradually and simply avoid things that can impair the quality of our lives. Doing so can help us to enjoy the given gift of God that so called LIFE. Always remember, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Thank you! from my speech in eng.4 class
