When times get tough, a helping hand can always be a sigh of relief. Throughout my life I have witnessed many people endure hard times, but with the help of others that particular person made it. The non-profit organization Feeding America provides help to nearly 46 million people in the U.S. This organization has provided assistance to many families and people I have meet. Feeding America is a spectacular non-profit that provides healthy food to people in need.
In order to be involved with a non-profit organization, you must have a connection with it. Feeding America has helped many people around me and has sparked my interest in getting involved. The organization Feeding America interested me through the way they help people and how they help people. Throughout my own observation, the people who received their aid were grateful and blessed. As a result, I was immediately fascinated in this organization. Understanding this organization will help people realize the seriousness of hunger in the U.S.
Feeding America is a United States non-profit organization that was created 35 years ago to fight the war on hunger. They do this through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community-based agencies. Feeding America's mission is to feed people through a network of food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger. Their main food and fund partners are Nielsen, Google, Doris Christopher, and Cargill. Feeding America receives $4 million dollars in donations, and 40 million
