The Chick-fil-A, Inc. extends beyond their illustrious food menu as the company is heavenly involved in the community and committed to providing excellence customer service. Throughout the years, the company has donated over $68 million to over 700 educational and charitable organizations, such as: A Commitment to Higher Learning, Disaster Relief, and Military Appreciation. Convoy of Hope (2013), published an article entitled, “Chick-fil-A Colorado Relief Drive”. The article discusses that Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Colorado and Wyoming partnered Convoy of Hope in October to provide disaster relief to Colorado residents impacted by recent flooding. Dedicated employees of the company supplied food to the families of flood victims and first responders.

According to Burns (2014), “Since 2008, the brand has also sponsored the annual Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game held in the Georgia Dome. The college football game is played on the opening weekend of the regular season and is intended to headline a three-day weekend in the epicenter of Atlanta.” The weekend generates over $10 million and pays out significant amount of money to both universities competing the in football game.

Chick-fil- A are also proud partners of the Atlanta Braves organization. The company is famous for the Chick-fil-A fan night at Turner Field, were it provides free chicken sandwiches, tickets, and sweepstakes opportunities to the fans that purchase the “Chick-fil-A Pack”. Also, the two have collaborated and donated over millions of dollars to various charities that support education for the youth.
