Our values and beliefs affect the quality of our work and all our relationships because what you believe is what you experience. We tend to think that our beliefs are based on reality, but it is our beliefs that govern our experiences. Beliefs refers to a persons conviction about a certain idea; it embodies people’s perception of reality and includes the primitive ideas of the universe as well as the scientist’s empirical view of the world. For example: beliefs in spirits, belief in gravity, or belief in life after death.

Belief is the physchological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true. Beliefs are stubborn but can be changed in the face of overwhelming evidence.
