Race refers to someone's physical traits, which includes bone shape and skin, hair, or eye colour whilst ethnicity refers to cultural factors, consisting of nationality, lifestyle, ancestry, and language. (Joseph F. Healey 2016) Ethnicity defines as a shared cultural heritage that is primarily based on beliefs and the values that they have. While in the workplace having ethic minorities makes a successful business because it is beneficial as it attracts people from diverse labour markets. Managing diversity promotes competitive edge by recruiting the best people for the job, regardless of ethnicity, age, gender or other individual characteristics. (Cornelius 32-60).
