Our values are something that is not only important, but effect almost every single decision we make in life. Usually before I react or make a choice, I think about my values first and what really matters most to me. Empathy would be the value that I hold dearest, it’s as simple as that. Empathy and kindness. Why? Empathy is the ability to understand other human beings feelings and struggles, and I believe that’s one of the kindest things. To explain how the value of empathy has changed me, I’d have to start from the beginning, and truthfully, empathy wasn’t always a value I treasured.
