INTRODUCTION

We have also secured top rankings in customer surveys on customer satisfaction and preferred travel agencies.

In addition, HANATOUR improved its productivity and profitability by introducing several innovative IT systems to the travel industry. We became one of the major companies to be listed on KOSDAQ by continuously expanding our position in the market in year 2000. Moreover, in year 2006, HANATOUR became one of the first KOSDAQ - listed companies to also be listed on the London Stock Exchange, one of three major stock exchanges in the world. This listing affirmed the transparency and credibility of HANATOUR’s business and provided a stepping stone for HANATOUR to develop as a global company.

“Expert-made travel Products”

HANATOUR offers over 14,000 different overseas travel products planned by about 2,000 travel specialists. Reaching out to places all around the world, the products include packaged tours, honeymoon trips and golf tours. Based on a strong and stable demand base secured through diversified sales channels, we also operate charter flight business. By developing new products, we realize convenient travel services to destinations that were not accessible in the past. In addition, by offering hotel reservation services and air ticket sales services to free independent travelers (FITs), we let such customers to arrange their trips from a wide choice of dates and destinations.

HANATOUR established Hana Kangsan, a subsidiary specializing in domestic travel, to take a lead in promoting domestic travel for the era of the Korean Peninsula-focused tour connecting South and North Koreas. We develop and offer various domestic products, including products jointly planned with local governments through business agreements, premium products and various theme products.
