Conclusions and Recommendations:

A primary as well as secondary research has been done to find out the perception and awareness level of Radisson’s Food & Beverage experience and offering in old Indore and business community.

From our primary survey we have found out that the business community is quite aware of Radisson Blu hotel. They prefer to visit the banquet halls of Radisson for various functions and ceremonies because of its service and ambience

While on the other side the turn up at its restaurants is quite low. The main reason we found out is that the taste does not match their requirement. They prefer to have Indore cuisine when they go out which is lacking at Radisson
So Radisson can work on this aspect to attract more customers in Indore. It can come up with the option of Indore cuisine in its menu with cooks specialized in that.

Our primary as well as secondary research shows that there are complaints regarding the variety in the buffet especially the starters when compared to its competitors. Improving or adding a few more items in the starter list might help Radisson to improve its ranking.

Another reason is that it is perceived not as a value for money. People perceive it to be over priced even before visiting and trying. But we have found that it is priced a little above its competitors, which may not be an issue considering its ambience and hospitality.
In this aspect Radisson mainly needs to change the perception of over-priced in the minds of people. It can come up with various advertisements and promotional activities to convey this. These activities might even help in attracting those customers who have never been to Radisson.

In service and ambience it is clearly the leader. Our findings show that once it improves its taste (as required by the localities) and variety, it can easily stand as the winner in Indore.

When looking at the menu, sometimes I have trouble deciding on what to choose. The reason why is their menu consists of mainly comfort food like what we grew up with when our parents made us dinner as kids. When I think of food from a restaurant I think of a quick cooked meal that tastes nothing like what I think it should. The food here is more like home cooked meals. The portions are larger than what many other restaurants provide. Sometimes the food is not what we expect like being cold, undercooked, overcooked or just not…

Rosewood Hotels and Resorts (Rosewood) is an organization that owns and manages a number of boutique and high end properties. However, each location is not tied to the Rosewood name in any way and is currently perceived and marketed as not being part of a “chain” but closely tied with its locale. Now, senior management is considering a new branding strategy that would link all current and future properties to the Rosewood name for brand recognition. The intent is to increase the number of times a guest returns as well as the number of properties that guests visit. Market research that has been conducted shows that if a new corporate branding were to be used, guest’s average number of visits per year would increase from 1.2 to 1.3 and the guest retention rate would increase to 21.67% from the current 16.67%. Additionally, 10% of guests may also stay at other locations which is a 100% increase from the current 5%. As there are risks associated with the proposed new branding, the organization must now determine if the increase in profit will outweigh these risks.…

Restaurants are a very huge industry and have the option of succeeding or failing depending on what and how they go about advertising and promoting their concepts. Moreover, restaurants have many critics that can affect their business as well. Everyone’s opinions on overall dining experience differ from one another. My best friend dined Bombay Chopsticks and didn’t have positive feedback. I wanted to go there as well for a long time, so my boyfriend and I went on a dinner date at Bombay Chopsticks. Bombay Chopsticks is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and it is known for unique Indian dishes blended with Chinese seasoning. What I am going to discuss about this restaurant is the setting, cleanliness, and service of this dining experience to help you better understand what this restaurant has to offer to its many customers.…
