Shaping The Global Face of Business

Introduction

The modern day business arena, coupled with current economic conditions; mimic an alternate universe filled with complexities that seem to originated from a distant universe, risk that seem to have no clear solution, and unrelenting presence of the dark cloud of failure, which larks behind every single decision. They recognize utter importance in the relationship between objectives and logistics. Leaders understand that success is based largely on their ability to bridge, partner, and mold the two concepts. But how does one accomplish such a mission.
Many seek the guidance and partnership of a consulting firm. They contract these firms to satisfy a number of their needs. One of the fundamental reasons for hiring consultants has to do with their exposure of the contracted firm. The theory is, the contracted consulting firm is exposed to other companies in the industry. Therefore, this should give the contracting company indirect access in to success practices of other in the industry. By the highlight comes in the form of knowledge sharing knowledge across industries, which in return; could provide an innovative solution to a problem, and may give the company a competitive advantage on others within the same industry.
It is the purpose to of this paper to provide overview of the current consulting environment. The Booz Allen at major company with in the industry. I will present industry and company overviews, background, and current trends. For the company portion of this paper, I will be providing such elements as situation, SWOT, and competitive analysis. It is my sole intention, that the at the conclusion of this paper, the reader have an introductory, yet detailed understand of the consulting industry and the corporate strategy of Booz Allen.

    The three dimensions of business problems are Organizations, Technology, and People. An example of organizations would be the rules and regulations that are set forth from within the company from the higher ups. The people are skilled in what their specific job is within a company to ensure that the overall goals are met. With FedEx there are hundreds if not thousands of different jobs that all have to be accomplished just for someone to send a package and it to get the destination on time. If FedEx did not have drivers, pilots, IT personnel, then the packages would go nowhere and they would be out of business.     A consultant is some one who is there to offer advice to those in need of assistance. One benefit of Kate using a consultant to help with her business is that she is able to find out what steps are needed to be taken to help the business run smoothly.
